Sure, vote them all out. But I'd be worried about what replaces them.

We allow the shitty politicians to get elected. We allow them to say and do whatever they want. Call it apathy, call it vote buying, whatever.

This is fun.
I would bet that there was at lease one white southerner burning Obama in effigy in 2014... and there will be another in 2015.

Really, 95% chance that both are true. Try to deny it.

Let's look at this honestly
Go on..
quote:

All we hear for the 8 bush years is how bad it was. How he is a war criminal. He should be put in jail..
More like 4 of his 8 years, but otherwise true... do you disagree?
quote:

Fast forward 6 years, and Obama does the same things. but the excuse is Bush did it!
Obama did the same things? Please equate invading and taking over Iraq with a puppet regime to air strikes on ISIL (and whatever that new terrorist group is called) targets in Syria.
quote:

And vice versa regarding the right as well.
You already failed.
quote:

When the left celebrates hope and change, while blindly supporting no change, what is the point? It's like everyone is on crazy pills.
political rhetoric. "Change" was the campaign slogan of Obama, along with "Yes we can!" Take a few guesses at Bush's campaign slogan:

...

"Kinder, Gentler Nation"
quote:

Get rid of these rich assholes. frick all of them.

Am I wrong here?
Please name the non-"rich assholes" you would replace them with.

Not at all.

Because it's obvious that is not happening.

Same with Bush during his time.

Well, we could move past affirming the Patriot Act, tax cuts for the wealthy, Gitmo, Drone attacks, and whatever else you feel like discussing.

So did who you voted for buddy.

Meh, we're no doubt polarized to an unusual degree recently but we've been through phases where members of Congress were giving each other brain damage on the Senate floor and a Vice President killed one of the Founding Fathers.

It all shakes itself out in the end.

The low point is journalism in general. The media is now opinionated programming and that extends through social media. Everyone has become cynical of DC.

The whole system is bought and paid for by monied interests. It's nothing more than a dog and pony show. bullshite. Despite the soaring rhetoric. This country and its people worship money, celebrity and technology. So we have the perfect overlords to suit us.

I agree. The solution is not to fall victim to the "divide and conquer" strategy employees by our current political players. It is political slight of hand and they want you to watch one hand while they are doing whatever the frick they want with the other. These guys/girls are pros.

This exactly

It doesn't matter. Whoever you elect Will probably be just as bad. More establishment hacks.

I couldn't disagree more. With few exceptions, we have a bunch of politicians who realize that the key to getting elected with a stupid electorate is money. They all kiss the asses of the party leadership so that they will get money and support from the party to get re-elected.

The result is that you don't have any independent thinkers who represent their constituents, but rather a bunch of guys who are beholden to their parties to get reelected and will do what they are told. Go along and you will get reelected 90+ percent of the time.

If we throw them all out, the new guys will know that they will be expected to do what is best for their constituents or they will be the ones getting tossed out of office in the next election cycle.

This is because what is an important part of a free republic is driven by profit. You can't have a real republic without an informed public and despite our easy access to information our access to quality information is probably lower now than it was in the 1930's. If you watch CNN, Fox News or any TV news outlet you will see 15 minutes of "news" (the same shite) and 23 hours and 45 minutes of puff pieces and advertisements. Want to get your information from another source? Good luck with that....as bad as the MSM is at least they can be sued and are concerned with their reputations to a small degree....internet sources are like the National Enquirer...the worse their reputation the better their exposure...

yes

some of the tax cuts were allowed to expire, and there is a significant difference between creating something like Gitmo and figuring out how to get rid of it. The Patriot Act is passed by Congress and what President would give up extra powers on their own... plus if he got rid of it the right would attack him as well... political capital is scarce these days.

I was talking about your statement that used Obama's slogan and directly compared him to Bush... so it is very relevant.

I am sick of all of them. Neither party has what's best for the people on their agenda just what's best for them. I would support term limits, pay and benefit cuts for all of them. Every politician should be on Obamcare!

This is the problem with the system. You have to be rich to get elected and then they get richer while in office.
