They really don’t want a war with Israel, they’ve been trying to avoid one for as long as I’ve been alive, and while they’re happy to hurt the Israelis, they wouldn’t do anything to risk a major conflict. The raid is also not the kind of attack the Iranians would organize. They like asymmetric responses that are difficult to respond to, or don’t compel a reaction. The Houthi blockade in the Red Sea is a good example of what they like to do, or the killing of the Israeli assets in northern Iraq. The targeted men were Kurds, and the attack did not occur on Israeli soil.
I believe the October 7th attack was solely organized by Hamas, and came as surprise to Iran and Hezbollah.

Maybe they wouldn't but If Iran is busy with Israel then they can't send weapons to Russia.

Partisan arguments aside, it’s obvious that we are seeing a disintegration of traditional and formerly agreed upon ‘rules of war’. Gloves off, in effect. This is the rational, logical and albeit painful, inevitable course of thinking IF one truly believes that their Cause is morally superior. IMO (admittedly biased as a Christian) one can look to the Book of Revelation to predict outcomes, as such is a prophetic inevitability. Does that mean that I condone or promote such actions and therein become spiritually accountable for them? If Spiritual Christian Theology is to be believed, will Jesus employ violent and superior force/action to remove Satan from Earthly power and would Satan believe such to be unjust and immoral? “There is a time for ALL things”. I think we are about to witness and experience the Second Coming (of Truth) and have our questions answered. And that is our best hope.

I truly am surprised at how many antisemitic libtards there are on here.
Hamas invaded Israel, put Jewish babies in ovens, raped and murdered thousands of Jews (and still are), and then called their mommas and got praised for it. Israel is eliminating the threat (and yes, PALESTINIANS- ALL PALESTINIANS, are the threat. The entire population HATES Israel (and the USA) and THEY support, arm, and give their children willfully for the sole purpose of killing innocent Jews.
