IRS sends knowingly fradulent returns totaling 7million to one bank account

quote:

The 2,706 tax refunds worth a combined $7,319,518 that the IRS sent to a single bank account in 2011 were all paid on tax returns that used Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers.

The inspector general's audit report revealing this remarkable payout was spurred by two IRS employees who went to members of Congress "alleging that IRS management was requiring employees to assign Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITIN) even when the applications were fraudulent.”

That three letter cluster frick is batting 1.000 on so many fronts and layers it isn't funny but pathetically saddening to grasp.

So instead of investigating the fraud, they just write the checks?

Don't worry. If you have a job and don't collect hand-outs, you are. .

There is no way in hell this is not a kickback scheme where liberals and IRS higher ups reamed the U.S.A. for millions of dollars that now sit in some Swiss bank account.

That was a different multi-million dollar fraudulent scheme.

It truly is sickening to know how much BS is going on within the IRS. Changing the figureheads every 4 years will do nothing to change the mentality of those who have worked there for over 20 years. I think it is time to abolish the IRS.

Do we need anymore proof it is time for this outdated agency to be erased from existence?

Punish via the IRS.

Reward via the IRS.
