Nope. Those things are promotions. Like 'free ball day'. You have to have the kids accompanied by parents who pay full price and parking. Back in the day kids went to the games alone. No parents. Fifty cents.
$5.00 + $2.06 tax = $7.06 total.

The actors/actresses make that sum per movie. Filming a movie doesn't take a year to do so they can make multiples of that sum in a year and then bitch about the evils of capitalism while being interviewed by the media that blows smoke up their asses with praise.

And your point would be valid if the parents also get the 5 buck ticket PLUS they don't have to pay for parking. Is Parking at the stadium free?

And no, the kid doesn't NEED a parent to drive him.
And no, parking at the stadium is not free. There are a bunch of private parking lots all over that charge different amounts. But you don't HAVE to park in one of those lots.
You can park somewhere else and walk if you don't want to pay.
