It's really easy to be a tough guy on the Internet , that goes for both people involved

PTM, since you seem to be a Houston guy I'm gonna let you in on a little secret that I've never revealed. I once committed a crime. No one knows about it.

My parents brought me and Bro to a Houston Astro game when the Dome was new. It was amazing. 8th wonder of the world. But our motel was near the old Colt 45 stadium. I was intrigued by it. It was locked up. But I was a skinny guy and was able to shuffle my body under the locked gates.

I went up to the press box and there were old newspapers. Lots of wasp nests. And some posters. And a pic of a guy named Carl Warwick. It was an old musty smell. I didn't take anything. Just crept back under the locked gates.

This is Carl...

You're right. Now that I've shown CptBengal what a complete and under douche he sounds like I can go back to my FIFA.

it does bring up an interesting psychological temperament i've noticed in a lot of conservative southern men, and that's the complete inability to understand or respect a point of view outside of their own and the desire to resort to violence when their beliefs are challenged. It's pathetic.

Interesting... I snuck into the Astrodome years after it wasn't being used anymore. There was football turf on the floor. Which is weird because the Oilers haven't played in the Astrodome in a really long time.

Sounds more like the liberals I know.

In fact here's an article about it.

LINK

quote:

[University of Virginia professor Jonathan] Haidt’s research asks individuals to answer questionnaires regarding their core moral beliefs—what sorts of values they consider sacred, which they would compromise on, and how much it would take to get them to make those compromises. By themselves, these exercises are interesting. (Try them online and see where you come out.)

But Haidt’s research went one step further, asking self-indentified conservatives to answer those questionnaires as if they were liberals and for liberals to do the opposite. What Haidt found is that conservatives understand liberals’ moral values better than liberals understand where conservatives are coming from. Worse yet, liberals don’t know what they don’t know; they don’t understand how limited their knowledge of conservative values is. If anyone is close-minded here it’s not conservatives.

i actually don't even disagree with the tea party on some issues but here it was literally one guy didn't like what the other was saying and in response he advocated violence against that person. I know you want to defend him because you agree with him on the issues and not me but at some point people will start associating you with him and I doubt that's what you want.

That would be a class thing and not an ideological thing.

Just being clear since you made up a bunch of stuff about "promotions". Bottom line, you were talking out of your arse per usual.

I'm waiting on some diamond club tix.
