Unfortunately I think you're probably right. Maybe not in the next year but I wouldn't be surprised if it happened over the next four years.

High probability.
Problem with a second Civil War is that it would weaken the country's military readiness and make us ripe for the picking by some hostile country with the means to come in and take over. That would be the worst case scenario. A better case but still not good outcome is that it would wreck this country's financial system/economy and have a domino effect on other world economies. That said, with the way things have been coming to a head over the last few years, I would not at all be surprised to live to seen a second civil way. I would like to think everyone would have enough sense as to when to back off. However, the leftist melt is one of the worst I have seen in my six decades of life. Society has indulged the lefties so much that things have gotten out of control. Political Correctness is just one of the results. Letting violent criminals go with lite sentences is another. There are many other societal problems that have emerges as a result of society's unwillingness to keep its behavior within tolerable limits. Granted, fascism is certainly not the answer, but neither is the other extreme. It takes some a truly very mature society to successfully balance and run a Democracy.
