I agree that the number of lunatics is great, and that ultimate control of them is delusional. But tacit approval of violence might break the last link in the sanity chain of a would be killer in Chicago as well as DC. Until the likes of Schumer cry and condemn violence on tv, from their believers, we have not done all. We can never do enough. I vehemently disagreed with Obama, but I would never violently do so. Fortunately no lunatic did either. Lets do our best to make this president as fortunate.

Trump has already secured 2020 I think. It's going to be 4 years of increasingly shrill and frothy protests to even the most reasonable measures. By the time of the election there will be no sane people left supporting the left

I also think somebody is gonna try something. I watch these nutcases march and protest daily, and most of the media glories in the drama. I watched CNN interview a detained refugee and ask him what he thought about President Trump (to the guy's credit, he didn't say anything bad)... I think it's absolutely a possibility that some deranged hipster feels it's his civic duty to try to assassinate "the Hitler/Trump".
I don't think the media will scale back their rhetoric until something happens.
