I think there is more instability in the Left, but mainly because he is a threat to what was the 'long term plan' for America by the Elites.

I thought the same about Obama.

Trump has put his opponents into nuclear meltdown in literally a week. They'll chill eventually but it will be ugly for entire tenure.

It'll probably happen via an "Et tu, Brute" type attempt.

They're incredibly sick and beyond rational. They may successfully turn our country into the countries that don't elect new leaders, but they keep killing each other's leaders off. Nice way to obtain peace.

The "tolerant" left are lunatics who will resort to anything to get rid of Trump.

I'm pretty moderate and think both parties have major flaws and can be fundamentally hypocritical. I didn't vote for Trump (or Hillary for that matter). That said, they way the left has acted the past few months is pushing me to more and more to the right. The two parties definitely handle themselves differently in the face of adversity, that's for sure.

I sure hope not. Then we would be stuck with Pence. Trump is a dumbass blowhard but Pence is pure evil.

Whether the loons fail or succeed, it would strengthen his supporters tenfold.

when was the last ideological credible attempt on a president's life?

Lynette Alice "Squeaky" Fromme on the morning of September 5, 1975,went to Sacramento's Capitol Park (reportedly to plead with President Gerald Ford about the plight of the California redwoods) dressed in a red robe and armed with a Colt M1911 .45 semi-automatic pistol that she pointed at Ford.

She was a libtard easily pushed into violence by any cause from Charle the Murder to Charle the Tuna. Liberals are more likely to protest things they do not like than conservatives. They are more likely to break laws (civil disobedience is a lefty sacrament). They are more likely to be violent. Compare Inaugural protest, BLM, and the 1%ers protests to the tea party rallies. Conservatives always condemn lawlessness and violence. Liberals do not police their own.

Want a second opinion? Ask the ghost of JFK how he feels about the last socialist he interacted with!

What use exactly is a thread like this?!?! There are enough lunatics out there and there are much more worthwhile topics to discuss.

I've been concerned about this as well. However, I don't think the threat is just from "the left." There is a long and growing list of people who feel threatened by Trump. There are also (I assume) right wing patriots who will grow more suspicious of Trump's actual goals. No one would act in that manner based upon ordinary political issues, at least I would hope not, but he is creating the impression of being an actual threat against groups of people, who may get to feeling desperate. The rhetoric of the right certainly isn't making anyone feel like tolerance is in the air. As distressed as this makes me personally, I can't brush off these concerns as unfounded.

I don't believe the left will do anything -- at least not someone actually aligned with the left. Some crazy nutjob could come along and do anything.

I would be more worried about an inside job via Republicans

I hope I am wrong,
You are.

I went through this exact same thing with Obamabots in 2008. The answer is the same today.

The establishment spent far too much time and energy to put Trump in the White House. Nothing is going to happen to him; just as nothing happened to Obama, when half the country was certain he would be assassinated.

Sorry to spoil your drama today.

I don't. All talk and no action (except marching and burning shite).

Trump moves to quick for the libtards to set him on fire.

Unfortunately, I think you're correct.

JFK, Reagan, and now Trump are individuas who promised REAL change.

JFK and Reagan thought they were above the real power in this country. That's what got them shot.

Trump is 100% establishment. Nothing will happen to him.
