Nice to know. Going to Oahu in a few weeks. Glad I'll be able to save a ton of money on tipping.

Great way to prove to the people actually working that they should also just sit on their arse since they apparently don't deserve tips...

You're grasp of history is hilarious.

1000s of Americans did not die keeping their sorry asses free from the Japanese. 1000s of Americans died when the Japanese decided to strike the main American naval base at Pearl Harbor.

The only reason the Japanese had ANY interest in the Hawaiian islands is because it was the home base of the US Pacific Fleet.

Thus the attack on Pearl Harbor

Try again.

LOL.

Sure.

And the Japs would have left Hawaii alone just like they left all those other items they invaded and used in their defense of the home island.

That's why this is just a mask. This is about economic control. As soon as what you just said happens, the next steps that will be required to keep things going are price controls and demand limits.

Right

The Japanese could barely sustain the effort to strike at Pearl Harbor.

The reason the attack was successful was due to the audacity. It was a one and done roll in the dark that happened to work due in large part to the incompetence of the military leadership at the time.

It's kind of fricked up that Pearl Harbor is the Japanese #1 international tourist destination for 3 decades, apparently.

Aussies go to Turkey (Gallipoli) but out of reverence for getting slaughtered.

Let me educate you there sport.

The Indians used crude tools for hunting, gathering and shelter and lived a sort of commune life. When the white man came to America they introduced steel. The Indians didn't have steel or iron and all of their tools/weapons were made of bone, volcanic glass, rocks, etc...
So the white man opened trade with the Indians. 10 beaver furs for 1 steel arrow head. And what happened, the Indians began hunting for those furs. As more goods were introduced, more furs were needed and much of the decimation of the American Buffalo among other native animals came at the hands of the Indians. Their want for trade with the whites caused their "downfall".

This is all documented in the book American Buffalo. Also, current day practices in Guyana also show this in action.

But I'm sure you knew this...

And had the "white" man never showed up.

The Natives would have been perfectly happy.

Thus my point ;-)....thanks for making it for me.

You are wrong; as usual/

quote:

Western air and naval forces tended to suffer a much higher percentage of deaths among their combat casualties than did Western ground forces. The U.S. Navy lost 31,157 killed in action out of a total of 62,858 combat casualties in the Pacific, a figure of nearly 50%. The U.S. Army Air Forces lost 15,694 dead and missing out of a total of 24,230 casualties in the Pacific, a figure of 65%.
Total U.S. combat casualties in the war against Japan were thus 111,606 dead or missing and another 253,142 wounded.

You are one self loathing idiot. Had Hawaii not been a part of the USA it would have been nothing than another Japanese holding. Hawaii was b/t the Japanese empire and the continental USA, any guess on why they would have taken it ? Iwo Jima in reverse ring a bell ? But you can carry on with your foolishness.

Yes, all of the natives of the different tribes would have been happy constantly warring with each other with the victors enslaving the women of the losing tribes.

So your point is that everyone would be happier if there were no technological advances and we all still lived in grass huts in the same villages as our fathers and our fathers' fathers? Because what you are really saying is that the advance of technology was the cause of the Indians' downfall: they didn't have it, and other races did.

The crap that gets taught to people these days, and then regurgitated ought to be criminal. You probably believe the indians were peaceful, earth worshipping early environmentalists, don't you?

Most indians were ruthless, vicious killers who decimated rival tribes, killing wholesale anyone they didn't want to rape and enslave. They weren't nomadic for the hell of it. They raped whatever land they were on, until it could no longer support them, and then they moved on, killing the resident inhabitants if need be, in the next place that would support them.

Too many Disney movies, and shitty public education. Probably believes that sweet, kind lions hung out with warthogs and meerkats, singing hakuna matata in Africa too.
