Basic income programs are coming, but the only way I think they can work is if there is some nationalized asset to sell off. The looming issues with automation will, if automation is as effective as they say it is, put middle class people out of work as well.

I love how they use automation as the excuse for this legislation. Hawaii would be the state least affected by this.
