Its clear you have no experience in the Military. The US, the most technologically advanced Military in the world misses exatc targets all the time. Hell the danger close distance for a 155mm round is over 300meters.
If you're saying that Israel can't be blamed for civilian casualties because their weapons are too inaccruate, shouldn't this also exonerate Hamas whose rockets are even less accurate than Israel's weapons? After all, I think can all agree that if Hamas had the ability to do so, all their rockets would hit Ben Gurion Airport, Dimona and IDF military bases.

Hard to argue against this point.

So roughly half the size of NYC by square miles and 1/6 th of it's population. Got it.

unable to leave by air, land or sea, in horrible poverty should accept their condition... in fact bend down, grabbed their ankles and say "Yes sir, may I have another".
Perhaps their leaders should spend the millions of dollars in aid money on trying to bolster their economy instead of building tunnel infrastructure solely aimed at kidnapping and killing people in their neighboring country.

Why do conservatives advocate freedom... will fight and die for freedom... but think these guys shouldn't fight back?
I think they have every right to fight back. I have no problem with Hamas firing every rocket, bullet and mortar they have at Israel. Conversely, they shouldn't be surprised or put up as martyrs by the "international community" ( ) when they militarily get the shite kicked out of them.

i don't think anybody is saying they can't fight back, but if they do, there will be repercussions (that suck)
i'm not pro-israel or pro-palestinian. i'm definitely anti-Hamas, though. i will admit that
the issue is that at teh end of the day, whoever is strong enough will make the rules. in this instance, that is israel. if the palestinians wants to fight, they has the right to. if they fire from civilian areas, those areas are now military targets. they can't play it both ways, advocating for war while acting like there are these rules they can take advantage of. they can't support (politically) or defend (indirectly) terrorists like Hamas and then act like there will be no reprecussions. if the civilians want peace, they need to start by executing every member of Hamas, then asking Israel for peace. i bet you if they did that, the majority of their problems would go away within 2 generations (assuming they maintain their anti-terrorist and fundamentalist stance)

You all are just a caricature at this point. Quite sad.

Likud's charter won't allow a Palestinians state. Why do you Israel keeps confiscating Palestinian property and building Jewish-only settlements?

You would really think the Palestinians would accept defeat at some point.
It's a good thing Patrick Henry didn't have this mindset.

If by "Homemade" you mean procured by the Muslim Brotherhood and smuggled into Gaza from Egypt.

No need to (and quite dangerous to try). There are plenty of 107mm and 122mm all over the world. I am fairly certain that is a Chinese or Soviet 107mm but I would have to look at it up close.
I saw them the other way in Afghanistan many, many times.

One do you think is the likelihood of dropping a one-ton bomb in NYC and not kill civilians. Israel doesn't have to fight from 10,000 feet in the sky, they can engage in ground combat if they care so much about civilian casualties.

if Palestine can't control their land, it's not their land. at the end of the day, this is how life works

It's amazing how conservatives foam at the mouth at the mention of Waco but see nothing wrong with the overkill we see in Gaza.
So many stupid threads are started here claiming "what if..." scenarios of the big bad government taking away our rights. If the government surrounded cities, blockading them from leaving etc, I can guarantee you that you and every other conservative here would not advocate being good little citizens and killing those mean rebels and hoping in 2 generations things would get better.

Same here in Iraq.
We use to go the POO sites all the time and its crazy all the different ways they set them. On donkey carts with kitchen timers, trunks of cars, in freaking trees, on off an Olympic diving board when we were in Mosul.
I definitely prefer taking incoming from rockets rather then motors though.

The amount of straw men the pro hammas side builds in each and every thread on the topic is quite impressive.

Then if Israel is going to employ the law of the jungle to engage in ethnic cleansing, they shouldn't bellyache about being hated worldwide and being called an apartheid state.
