I believe we are witnessing the lead-up to an assassination and coup that will end in the end of the family dynasty. And probably very soon. Fat Boy is on his way out, and it won't be an American missile that does it.

If they really had anything they we would have much better evidence. They have crap satellites if any at all. They have a strong rhetoric but they have no real threats. I strongly believe that. That said, that country needs liberation. I do feel bad for their people. I am sure that there are major human rights being violated there for protection of their sovereignty.

That is the most isolated and brainwashed country in history, no? Millions of people allowed to go free but have no idea of what "free" is or why they should want it?
I think China absorbing them would be the best solution. Can North Koreans not kill South Koreans? They have been told how evil the rest of the World is their whole life.

Romania is the closest recent analog to NK. insular communist state ruled by a personality cult. It turns out the people weren't nearly as brainwashed as everyone thought less than a generation after Ceaucescu's overthrow, it is a modern Eoropean country, for the most part.
