Considering CNN's full, un-edited coverage of Trump's rallies helped him get an insane amount of exposure, I would say trump should be thankful

It's kind of hard to not give exposure to the elephant in the room.

He's thankful that CNN is run by morons and their plan to push him to feed to Hillary Clinton backfired. That's probably the most delicious morsel of schadenfreude in this entire episode.

I hope this is true

frick those people, for once they got an earful of what normal people think about them

seriously - frick them

and anyone who frets that Trump needed to extend an olive branch in the hope of better & more fair coverage - frick that

they were never going to be fair anyway - in fact, this approach has a better shot of getting him fair coverage than any attempt to play nice would have

Now, I'm in Trump's corner here, but what, specifically, does dressing them down accomplish? Trump let's off steam. The networks dig in their heels!

What I want to know is, what, specifically, is in FCC regulations that he can hold over their heads and threaten them with in order to get them back to objective reporting instead of cheerleading?

I don't believe this for a second. No way in hell his team allows him to call in every head of the media and then berate them like that. We all wish he would, but there is no way that happened.

An olive branch may have been involved.

Just not in the traditional sense of peace and diplomacy.

Just sayin, but Jeff Zucker may be leaking extra virgin for a while.

Typical liberal.

"We are going to act like morally bankrupt assholes with our own set of standards, and try to destroy everyone who disagrees with us. Everyone is fair game; your kids, your wife, your friends. And if you complain or fight back, we will call you a thin skinned pussy."

they backed themselves in a corner by being so one sided. They have no other card to play. They can continue, and the trust of the public can go ahead and tank that remaining 20% trust they have. I don't think there was an olive branch to give here.

They will double down and further expose themselves for the hate-filled partisans they are. He knows exactly what he is doing.

I've been enjoying your continued meltdown over the past few days.

It's painfully obvious you have no grip on reality.

When you have an enemy, you generally should grab them by the throat and not let go to get a better grip.

Good. On another note, the RNC needs to address future POTUS debates right now. As in tell them we are going to explore different networks due to leaking of questions, or we are not going to participate.

The grown ups are in charge.
