He needs to learn how to take criticism more lightly. Do you really want a person constantly pointing the finger running this country?

I want a truth teller regardless of whose feelings it hurts. If it hurts the feelings of the rich and powerful, that's too bad. The media has its bully-pulpit and he has the one provided by the presidency. The American public will get to decide who has the most credibility.

As long as he doesn't use his office to do so, the great.

It's not just criticism. It's the constant lying that he objects to. Me, too.

IMO this was a brilliant strategy. The media was never going to come around and provide fair coverage. He needed to bait them, let them get emotional, that way thier bias is even more transparent. The only play Trump has or could have had regardless is to dull their teeth.....in the eyes of the public it comes in the form of further exposing that bias. Trump is counting on the publics disregard of the media as a way of insulating his future administration. They cried wolf too many times. 4d galactic chess!

He can't impose sanctions or stunt the freedom of the press. He can absolutely use his position and a threat to "declare war" on the mainstream media which honestly may have been the biggest loser during the election cycle. He could frame the media as being part of the swamp (which is accurate by the way) and have a consistent campaign about the obvious bias. He can call them out publicly and hurt them.

Or, the media can revert back so something that resembles fairness and honesty.

The bias in our media is a huge legitimate threat to our freedoms at the moment.

Considering CNN's full, un-edited coverage of Trump's rallies helped him get an insane amount of exposure, I would say trump should be thankful

So now it's OK to cover a rally and then have your producers and on the air "journalists" give debate questions to the candidates you prefer? And its Ok to have one candidate feed questions to an on the air "journalist" so he can ask their opponent gotcha questions?

And that's just some of it. We saw how last cycle Candy Crowley ambushed Romney. Do you think this was an isolated instance?

If the leaks proved anything, it indicated just how in bed CNN was with the Clinton campaign and you have to know this wasn't the first time.
