Black. I don't give a frick if they call me white, so why not call them black? Plus the term is not correct for many people, like running into black Canadians, black Europeans, or even Africans themselves.

I used the term AA only at work so as to not get anyone butthurt and get a call from HR.
I took thsi habit with me to my new job in the UK.
I got funny looks when I referred to the black guy from Brixton as African-American.
That verified my opinion of how stupid the term is.
Very few of the blacks in the US have ever stepped foot in Africa. They're Americans, and they're black, just like I'm white and not French-American.

Only situation where that term applies. The USA citizens that are recognized as AA are nothing of the sorts. If they want to be called black that's fine but make no mistake they are Americans not AA.
