Because it's 100% bullshite. All of it. What are we to be afraid of again- Global Cooling of the 70's? Global Warming of the 2000's? Or newly minted "Climate Change", a catch-all name they came up with because they were tired of being wrong all the time.

In any event, we were all supposed to die from Acid Rain 20 years ago....we're on borrowed time. Enjoy it!

It is a political theory.

It's a belief system with no proof that it exists.

Given the minute amount of CO2 in the upper atmosphere it is technically impossible for this to cause global warming on it's own.

The earth has been cooling and warming as long as we can determine. It has been on a warming trend for 10s of thousands of years. Long before the Otto cylce engine.

Solar activity has more effect on temperature here than any other thing. Surprised? LINK

Follow the money.

The issue is that it is politics and economics being levied under the disguise of science. The ultimate goal of the movement is wealth redistribution, not saving the planet.

Businesses can legitimately point to variance in global climate over the past millions of years.

Easy to pretend we are helpless. Easy to propagandize that small steps wont matter.

Easy to point out china and india using coal bigly.

My issue with climate change is the not argument as to whether it exist (it does.) My issue is that the proposed solutions 1) aren't the best route to solving the problem and 2) are masks for massive redistribution of assets from advanced republics to countries with long histories of corruption and oppression.

No one is saying ""small steps won't matter."

They are saying your so-called small steps will yield major degradational effects on the economy.

They are saying the small-effects-treatment is not worth the large-effects-cost.
