Yea, our enemies want immigrants out, that's why so many of them fund lobbyists to keep it in.

Good eye!
OP, thank you for showing that immigration enforcement is not a Trump exclusive.

You are an embarrassment

Brian Cash can put a figure to the cost of Alabama's new immigration law: at least $100,000. That's the value of the tomatoes he has personally ripening out in his fields and that are going unpicked because his Hispanic workforce vanished literally overnight.

There are a large number of peoples on welfare and food stamps who could be doing that work

Are you saying the underlying point of this article is somehow less relevant today?

Not on the east coast.

I live in Alabama and could use some extra work. Will those farmers pay me a respectable wage to entice me to come out there?
You see, that's the thing. There's a temporary non-citizen worker program for agriculture, but you have to pay the prevailing wage. Draconian's farmers won't pay it.
Go watch " Harvest of Shame," a 1960 CBS special about mostly black people traveling around, picking crops. The limousine liberals felt sorry for them and put them on the government dole.

1. No. It doesn't.
2. I don't like tomatoes.
3. Have a nice day.

No, the point is this guy's point of "no tomatoes tomorrow" is full of shite. Here it is five years later and you can still buy his cardboard tasting tomatoes in any store. He lied.

quote:even legal immigrants on average use quite a bit more in public services than they pay in taxes. Illegal immigrants cost the country much more, upwards of $100 billion a year. It's moronic to say they are even a net gain, much less without them our economy collapses. So these farmers have to pay more for legal workers, like they should have been doing anyway, and the price of tomatoes goes up some. The cost of taking care of all these illegals and the money they dump out of our economy to Mexico will more than make up for it
Without immigrants, our economy collapses.

Tomatoes in Feb? Not happening even in South Alabama.

How many in a Georgia are on food stamp she and welfare? They need to get to picking, and the farmer should be arrested for employing illegals.
