I would imagine US farming is already ruined since Florida and California are certainly underwater by now.

Well he had better find some legal workers to pick those tomatoes

Exactly what he should have been using all along and would not have this problem.

So Brian just admitted to harboring illegals for his business? Not very smart is he?

Jose, Pablo, and Enrique never complained about working conditions, hours, health benefits, 401k, vacation time, etc. Their replacements will. You think Cletus and Bubba are going to put up with what illegals did? The first thing these frickers are going to do is unionize and demand to be fed from a silver spoon.

Food prices have stayed reasonably low because of illegal labor picking our food. But keep believing other wise while you chow down on your salad.

Are you saying the underlying point of this article is somehow less relevant today?

And it's not even a good point at all considering the economy is still here and I'm still eating tomatoes and putting ketchup on shite.

Sounds like the market said the farmer was full of shite.

I don't think anyone is contesting that using native labor would initially drive up food costs - to pretend otherwise is economic illiteracy. I would assume that there would be pressure to automate as much labor as possible, or people would begin providing their own food again if they feel prices are too high.

Without immigrants, our economy collapses. Some of those advocating for the removal of immigrants are unaware of this, but some are counting on it. These are the enemies of America and some of them are now inside the White House.

No one doesn't want immigrants at all. We just want them to enter legally and to be vetted.

Look at that. Progs pushing low labor cost for lower consumer pricing

Wow. Damn shame Obama's administration caused all those crops to die 5 years ago.

Tremendous frickup on your part. Have a less embarrassing Sunday afternoon.

Immigrants or illegals?

Which are you talking about.

We need a vibrant immigration policy and a robust guest worker program. You know the one where they pay fee's and taxes.

Of course inflation will rise which is why you and the pol click don't want reform.
