Oh come on dude, don’t be so weak

Step 1
Media has become completely one-sided working for one political party. They have already made sure if a conservative voices their opinion, they're racist and bigoted to silence opposing ideas.
Start a consevative news website.

Step 2
Attract younger generations through media and educational systems to spread progressive and socialist ideology.
Become a teacher

Step 3
Making more and more of the populace desire wealth redistribution policy and maintain or grow dependancy on govt.
Nobody makes another person do anything. More and more of the population has been persuaded that wealth redistribution is good. Write a book arguing everything they get wrong.

Step 4
Bring in more socialist ideas and electing or swaying socialist representatives.
Run for office

Step 5
Progessive, socialist, anti-conservative employees within FBI and CIA who aren't afraid to show their bias and face no penalty. Only going after opposing political figures while protecting leftists politicians.
Join the government and be a part of fixing it from the inside.

Immigration with no limit. Minorities are their bread and butter. Will soon be the largest voting block.
See step 3

We are lucky as frick to live in a country where we can pursue any career we want. Rather than crying about everyone else’s faults, how about you man up and work your arse off to put yourself on a career path where you can do something about it?

I agree. So maybe the solution is something along this line. We should contact our state legislators and demand a referendum on secession be included on the ballot on your next statewide election. I believe most people have come to the same conclusion I have....this country is so profoundly divided that we really need to seriously consider breaking up the union.

Let the conservative states (aka flyover country) go with a country fashioned around the U. S. Constitution and traditional values. Let the liberal states (NY, California, et al) fashion a socialist quasi-marxist utopia and liberal values. You know something like Veneuzula. Actually it doesn't have to be a violent fracturing. We just go our separate ways.

Seems like a sensible solution to me.

Moving to another country to escape the Fall is not a viable option. The rest of the world has been living on Daddy’s credit card: that’s why they could sip coffee in Copenhagen during the Cold War. No defense spending needed. There is nothing after America.

Yeah but if America truly does go socialist/communist there has to be other options right? Some Eastern European countries seem like the best bet as they got to experience the destruction of communism first hand and don't want to go back to it.

I've also thought about going to some Asian countries as well, specifically Japan and South Korea. Both countries have a more collectivist mentality than the U.S. but they still believe in basic freedoms and have what is essentially a capitalist system.

I like your idea, but I don’t think those other countries will survive once the Pax Americana is over.

It will, that's happening now in Venezuela, the only question is how bad does it have to get before it does.

My family is financially stable. Not worried about me.

Conservatives aren't the ones crying about rich people have too much money.

There is your fact a-hole.

Sadly it won't happen but I've looked at that as the best solution for awhile now. An agreement that the two sides are too fundamentally different at this point to keep the union in tact. An agreement that a peaceful secession and equal dispersement of the assets is the best long term solution.

Simply put, break the mainland U.S. up into about 5 different countries. The 5 countries would be the following:

- A Northeast U.S. country
- A Southern U.S. country
- A West Coast U.S. country
- A Midwest U.S. country
- A Mountain West/Great Plains U.S. country

Hawaii would go back to being its own nation and Alaska could become a part of Canada where it's truly always belonged.

Split the U.S. into 5 individual countries and then form a North American Union with those 5 U.S. countries and Canada. The North American Union would be responsible for defense with each country paying an equal share. The 5 U.S. countries could continue to use the U.S. Dollar as the primary currency. There could even be unlimited travel within the NAU like there is the EU. If that's too much than in the very least they could set it up where you would only need a Passport Card and not a full Passport to travel between the countries.

Other than that though each individual U.S. country would be free to set its own Economic and Social Policies.

There could even be a 2 year grace period where people could freely move with no penalty if they country they are in is not to their liking. This would also allow more liberal individuals in conservative countries to move to liberal countries and vice versa. This should be on every state ballot in 2020 and should be looked at as truly the best solution.

I'd have more if I weren't taxed so much. The government is literally funding "Idiocracy". Let's subsidize the worst parents at the expense of the best parents.

Dont blame me, blame the politicians who voted for those programs.
