First off it did not take a fricking hour and a half to return a set of blinds you idiot. Second do you honestly think they sold you the wrong blinds on purpose to try and rip you off?? You are really fricking pathetic.

You suck at comparing.

You've obviously never run a business of any sort. Guessing your employed by the state or Feds?

Seriously is this not obvious to you? My voluntary association with the Home Depot ended the moment I walked out of their store with my paid for blinds that they had led me to believe were 72" long. Once I realized they had ripped me off and sold me 60" blinds instead - the association is no longer voluntary. I am compelled by the financial damages I would suffer were I to not follow up on the Home Depot's deception at the time of sale.

You know, it's to the point I'm ready to hit the downvote button just when merely clicking on any thread by you. I hate to be like that, because even a broken clock is right twice a day, but you're even worse than that.

i hardly ever deal with the gov't, and as bad as the DMV service is, I would rather deal with the DMV than comcast.
Well I'd much rather deal with Home Depot than the dmv, as I've returned 2 items their in the last month in a grand total of 45 seconds. The OP judged an entire corporation based on one instance of bad service, and he clearly has an agenda.

Corporate red tape takes more of my time than government red tape. Seriously. Home Depot sold me two sets of 60" length window blinds in a package that said 72" length. You'd think I should be able to to just walk in with my receipt and get a refund for what amounts to a bait and switch, right? Nope. First they said they wouldn't even refund it at all because they just didn't take blinds back. The lady at the counter actually had to go over her surpervisor's head to eventually get the thing refunded. All totalled it took nearly an hour and a half.
This sounds like another one of the pathetic lies you usually post on this board.

If you want to live in a place with a ton of government, there are 200+ nations that can oblige you. You can always come back if you don't like those places. Once you change America to favor government over freedom, there's no going back. Stop trying to frick it up for everybody here simply because you lack the balls to move to a place where you feel better served.

I call bullshite on this. I've seen people return cut lumber to Home Depot for store credit. Cut. Lumber.

In our latest voluntary encounter with private business, my wife volunteered for another driver to run into her car in a parking lot. She then volunteered a choice between the list of one rental car companies offered by the insurance company of the other driver (which we volunteered to do business with, of course). Then we volunteered the unnamed shitty rental car company (Hertz) to lie to us and tell us we had until the 19th to return the car without charge, only to find out that wasn't true and then we volunteered that they would take $40 from us (after the Hertz employee volunteered that yes, they did indeed lie to us about the car being charge free until the 19th, but oh well! We're charging your card anyway. Too bad we're a private business we can take what we want from you! We can even straight up lie to do it - and admit it even - but too bad!)
I told my wife next time she volunteers for her car to be hit while parked she should volunteer the other guy to have better insurance.

This POS thread was idle for 4 days, did you really need to dredge it up from the trash heap of idiot threads?
