It's not stupid at all. They are comparing covering of the Benghazi scandal months after it happened to the coverage of the Christie scandal the DAY it happened. Not a fair comparison.

Hi Al, How ya durrin? Do you realize how many mistakes you made in one post?

1. My response was to an idiotic post about the IRS scandal. Was the IRS involved in Benghazi? I don't think so. Was the IRS trying to audit the terrorists' tax returns?

2. The time frame issue is simple math. Compare the MSM coverage of the IRS scandal in the FIRST TWO DAYS. With the coverage of Christie in the FIRST TWO DAYS.

That's not apples to oranges, Al.

And, since we know that the coverage of the IRS scandal in the FIRST SIX MONTHS was less than Christie in the first TWO DAYS, then we can deduce that the IRS scandal was not covered more in the FIRST TWO DAYS than it was in the FIRST SIX MONTHS.

Do you understand, Al?

Is this information in any posted link? If so, I missed it.

All I've heard are comparisons of coverage to the Christie scandal's first few days to the last six moths of the IRS scandal. The IRS scandal is roughly 8 months old.

In the first link and chart posted, it most certainly is.

Again. Link me this info. I'd be interested to read it.

Methinks you'll soon catch on to what we are trying to get through to you, but obviously you're too busy speaking "rabble rabble rabble" to understand what we are saying in "stupid".

You're being duped by this story, homey.

It is, this whole thing is nothing but a parlor trick, and most of the people in this thread fell for it.

Does Fox not count as a news network? Because that shite has been on there nearly daily. I see posts all the time about how Fox is the #1 rated network, so why do you give a shite what the other ones are covering? By that metric, the message you like is getting out.

As I have said before and I will say again... Fox news is the only non-biased station.

IDK is this suppose to be a joke or not. The most trusted network is PBS. In other countries government back media job is too push out propaganda. In the USA, its actually the most trusted media network for news (And boring as sh!t).Honestly, I think people should look at other source of news at this point. The Christian Science Monitor does a pretty good job of informing people without foaming at the mouth politics.

I'm flattered you think about me even when I'm not in threads. however this thread is as stupid as you believing the peso and the dollar are even.

This story broke 5 months ago when legislators called for hearings. Subpoenas were issued. Christie denied and even joked that he put the cones out himself.

The Obama "scandal" had televised hearings. To say this was covered 17x greater is as stupid as.... Well you Miss Peso = Dollar.

Oh look, we have Mr. CajunAngele. I suppose you to believe the peso = the dollar.

Benghazi had televised hearings. Were these hearings televised?

No?

Well the peso =/= dollar either.

Yeah, I fricked up. I meant the IRS scandal, not the Benghazi scandal.

I understand that you don't know when the IRS scandal broke. It began way more than 6 months ago. You seem to believe it happened within the last 6 months.

It's not an apples to apples comparison. I have very little doubt, however, that if you did compare the first day of the IRS scandal to the first day of the Christie scandal you would find the latter received more coverage. This MRC report doesn't make that comparison though.

What part of Christies scandal got more coverage in the first few days than the IRS scandal got in 6 months, don't people seem to understand?

It's sad.

I posted this in this thread

quote:

Have you ever thought if there would be some resolve or closure to the IRS scandal it would not be talked about so much?

If the progressives were targeted by the IRS, under the Bush admin and it went unanswered for such a long time after wards, don't you think the progressives would be upset?

If Christie plead the fifth or appointed anyone other than an objective IG or special prosecutor, to investigate the matter. Progressives would want Christie crucified on Friday at 3PM.

And look who is investigating the Christie bridge traffic deal.

The MSM is just as much to blame for the corruption, crime, and negative effects of the Obama administration as the politicians responsible themselves.

the part where his scandal accorded months ago with an investigation and port authority internal review which got little coverage.
