Not the same plan and benefits, surely. You're in the 3% of the population in the individual market without subsidies, and got hit hardest. Let's fix the law to help you a bit, instead of destroying it and ruining 20M people's insurance at the same time.

So lets subsidize until everyone is happy?

Assuming this is true in arguendo.

Incredibly. Small. Segment. of the Population. You could EASILY target them with a small program that is aimed only at them and not the entire market.

Actually, I did leave my job to start my own business and you can carry the insurance over until the next enrollment period. Problem solved.

obamacare enables you to do this, who knows what happens without obamacare.

I truly don't see how trump is going to pass a cost effective plan that still includes preexisting conditions

I'm hopeful, but I see many ppl being disappointed on this forum

no trumpkin will be disappointed, anything he does is gold.

Once again, if they adulted and carried insurance before getting sick, it's not pre-existing it's what you pay for.

Batl just wants a system that pays for you when you get sick no matter what, no matter how much it costs, and you don't have to have it until the moment you are sick. That's how insurance works.

Batl doesn't give a shite if that system has death panels that decided when you will die, either. Just as long as it, on the surface, doesn't exclude you for pre-existing illness and covers your $95,000 a year therapy that reduces the inconvenience of your restless leg syndrome.

It is, but Republicans have had 7 years to develop a "replace" plan and thus far have no plan they agree on.

Why worry? Have you read the Obamacare Bill?

We have to pass the bill before we can see what is in it.
Don't you support that plan of governance?

CBO has been politicized. But don't worry - Trump will fix that

Well, this is the Congressional Budget Office. Congress is controlled by Republicans. Congress is also outside of Trump's jurisdiction.

I would think we wouldn't have to have a civics lesson about checks and balances, would we?

the insurance companies didn't have to offer you coverage though. They could decline you for pre-existing conditions.

What did the CBO say about ACA initially?

Didn't the CBO substantially underestimate the cost of Obamacare to begin with.

Well op is lying.

This study doesn't estimate the repeal of aca.

It leaves all the expensive stupid shite and just removes the mandate and subsidy.

quote:

CBO reports on the estimated changes in health insurance coverage and premiums that would result from leaving the Affordable Care Act’s insurance market reforms in place while repealing the law’s mandate penalties and subsidies
