They tried to jazz it up New Orleans style.

It totally sucked. Hearing if felt like walking into a cheap T shirt shop on Bourbon Street.

I didn’t think it was bad.

Nice change from the typical celeb who tries to put his/her “stamp” on the anthem.

Some things I just think you shouldn’t mess with. The National Anthem is one.

Whitney Houston screeching it out in the mid 90s that everyone loved so much. It sucked arse but the masses ate it up. They played at every fencing meet and bowling tournament during my college career.

Bad renditions of National anthem are nothing new. They just happen to be more common place these days. Nothing is sacred to the irreverent except destroying all that is good and casting aspersions on those who dare challenge them on any point

Unless we cease to approve or overlook such actions they will only get worse.

Step number one to bringing this behavior to an end is to quit apologizing for being right and for having a moral compass. Screw these people.

Febrile gave me the worst case of 2nd hand embarrassment ever but no one will ever “perform” the National Anthem as horribly as Roseanne.

Throw Carl Lewis into that mix. It spawned the "Francis Scott Off-key" comment

It was very good.

The lady sang it straight up.

The band played jazz.

You fricks no nothing about music or art.

Stick to politics
