re: So a friend is swearing that LSU cannot win a bidding war with Houston.... - tress4pres
I don't Herman leaving Houston anytime soon. I love the guy, but I think he needs more sustained success before people start jumping on the bandwagon. He's a great coach but he's also in the perfect situation. I realize LSU needs to strike while the iron is hot, but to me he seems like a coach that ...

re: On the 2nd to last play - tress4pres
He was also not set on the last play, and it looked to me the QB was past the line of scrimmage on the throw. I can't remember seeing the last play of a game with so many things going on at one time. Crazy....

re: The Trusted Grown-Ups Who Steal Millions From Youth Sports - tress4pres
This happened at the local sports organization where I live. Several folks running it were in it together and were using funds from the club to fund their business, go on vacations, etc. They were never prosecuted as far as I know but they got the hell out of dodge in a hurry....

re: OJ Mayo receives 2 year NBA ban for violation of wellness policy - tress4pres
Yes they did. McKinley was solid for sure with Raymar Morgan leading the way, but I wouldn't put them up there with the best of all time. Dunbar was definitely athletic and consistently won D2 titles. Daquan Cook was a stud and he had a strong supporting cast. As good as LeBron was, they were up...

re: OJ Mayo receives 2 year NBA ban for violation of wellness policy - tress4pres
They were very good no doubt, but played in a small school division (D4 I think). I actually thought Bill Walker had more potential than OJ but he couldn't keep out of trouble. Some of the Bishop Wehrle and Columbus city league teams from the '80s and '90s were ridiculous. Columbus Independence h...

re: Rio is gonna be great - tress4pres
I've traveled all over and have seen my share of third world countries. Jamaica is pretty bad too, Kingston especially. But most of South and Central America is beautiful and civilized. Peru, Colombia, Chile, Argentina are awesome. They need to drop a bomb on Brazil and start over, at least on Sao P...

re: Rio is gonna be great - tress4pres
No I don't speak the language. If you know Spanish you can stagger through it. I only know enough to get by which in Brazil gets you nowhere. But honestly, that should be the least of anyone's concerns. Besides the disease, filth and poverty, our driver (who was from Sao Paolo) refused to stop at an...
