Really? I'm a woman and I have a right to feel safe when I'm in a dressing room or rest room, and not have to worry about a man dressed as a woman so he can gain access to a victim.
So now, not only do I have to worry about walking across a parking lot at night, keeping my house locked during the day when I'm at home, I now should have to worry about the person in the stall next to me.
I wish you guys would set up a flow chart of victims so we could know exactly who trumps whom.
ETA>>>I don't know how old your kids are, but playing this transgender stuff is very risky business. Most kids can't remember to flush the toilet or brush their teeth, much less have the emotional wherewithal to decide if they are really transgender or just confused.

Again, as I told the prior poster, give me a link that substantiates your claim that men are posing as females to utilize the transgender bathroom laws to become peeping toms in public restrooms. It's a boogieman that doesn't exist.
I guarantee that any transgender American who would utilize the ability to do so is much more concerned about your judgment of them than they are about trying to see you sitting on a toilet.

Because it's a fickin distraction about a subject that overall kids don't need to be dealing with. The vast majority of boys in the Boy Scouts are actually a bunch of preteen kids in the first through 6th grades. I don't want my kid worrying about his sexuality at 10-11 years old and bringing in a girl who thinks she is a boy and wants to be treated as such when everyone knows that she's a girl is too frickin confusing and a distraction .
As a parent, I would be all up in the parent's shite for acquiescing to this bullshittery.

Great. Do you have an example of this? Because there is literally nothing stopping a man from doing that as it is. How does a law allowing transgender females to use the women's restroom impact the ability of a man to put on a wig and dress and walk into a women's bathroom? It someone wanted to do that now, they could.
But that's beside the point. The whole discussion was that the boogieman of the idea of the transgender bathroom laws being opened up resulting in masses of perverts pretending to be women (which is false) was akin to the boogieman of the idea that the Boyscouts allowing transgendered children would open up an influx of perverted kids trying to corrupt the "wholesome experience" of the Boyscouts.

How can someone be transgendered before they reach the age of majority? IDGAF what people want to do with themselves once they are old enough to fight and die on foreign soil, but how does this work for kids??

I'm an Eagle Scout and I support a more inclusive BSA. This is good news.

Cut the crap about "more inclusive" That is b.s.. WE need to stop blurring the lines between male and female. Born with a penis - male. Born with a vagina - female and we start using the pronouns that have been used in standard modern English for the past 500 years or so and the Latinate suffixes that have been around since the Etruscans climbed out of their caves in Tuscany millenia ago.
If you are a boy at birth you go to the Boy(Cub) Scouts, if you are a girl at birth , you go to the Girl Scouts(Brownies) or there are other organizations underneath the scouting umbrella.
If mommy and daddy had really wanted a boy, then maybe they should have kept trying instead of encouraging their little girl to dress up like a boy and play pretend.

I am an Eagle Scout. I knew Scouting along with a bunch of other civic organizations (Masons, Kiwanas, 4H) have been in trouble for a long time.
But this Trans-whatever BS has and will be the end of Boy Scouts.

If you're an adult and you want to act like you are the sex that is the opposite of the one you were born as, then knock yourself out. Just don't expect me to celebrate it.
However, when it comes to this kind of shite, which essentially encourages parents to entertain their child's flights of childish fancy and imagination, that's what pisses me off.
Some boys act more effeminate and want to play with trolls. Some girls act more boyish and want to play pee wee football. And there's nothing wrong with that. But to use those attributes to reinforce the notion that they should identify as the opposite sex is extremely reckless and dangerous.
