Like the democrats of today, plenty of republicans were pissed beyond a level they previously thought they could reach. But the difference is that those pissed off people funneled their anger into reforming their own political party and paving the way to get their people back in charge. The majority of Dems seem satisfied to simply stew in their anger and evoke chaos.

The Republicans were far worse. Throw in the fact that the economy was in a free fall their obstructionism was downright treasonous.
Could have had a ton more high speed rail by now, plus a lot of other infrastructure upgrades. But Repubs decided it was more important to oppose everything Obama proposed.

While some of that stuff is awful, I'm failing to see the violence, destroyed property, looting, and overall destruction caused by the current crop of thugs?
You may not agree with those signs, but they're legal; setting fire to another man's business is not.

They really don't see the difference. Sad really. In their minds those signs equal riots and deaths and actual physical harm.
