you did say that HL belittles women Rex. you said they turned their religion into their business and then said you cant support a religion that belittles women. I still fail to see how HL or the religious beliefs belittle women just because HL refuses to pay for the results of a elective recreational activity. Women on the company plan can still get the abortive pill, they just have to pay for it themselves.

What's going on here? Rex is the most belligerent (brilliantly I might add) poster on this board. Where is this sympathy coming from? It's anonymous people on the Internet, he'll live.

LEAVE REX ALONE!!!!!

Rex decides not to shop at Hobby Lobby. 7 page thread ensues.

I don't know Quidam, all he is doing is expressing a view that is different than the majority on this board. I thought this board was about expressing your views and engaging in dialogue, not personal attacks. If anyone disagrees with Rex they can do so without personal attacks but there is often a herd mentality in response to him. I just don't understand it.

I'm pretty sure Rex runs this place. Chicken is probably his front-man.

I have no problem with this. I don't spend money with a ton of different companies for reasons both political and non-political.

Personally, I believe that's the way it should be done.

If we ever found out Rex was chicken's elaborate alter, would this site survive?

And still no problem

Good for you - wait til a radical gets elected with a radical congress who mandates that you purchase a certain level of hobby supplies or face additional taxes/penalties. oh - and those other outlets will be defined as 'sub-standard.'

I don't get the hate for costumes. They are fun!

People always talk about Rex's Maggie costume but his award-winning Cobra Commander costume gets no love. I don't get it. I think CC is a better reflection of Rex's desire to rule over anyone right of center with an iron fist.

precisely - I quit going to professional baseball games years ago because of the union/strike shite.

there are many Hollywood stars whose movies I will not watch.

many other exxamples -

I don't go around insisting that others agree with me. I just quietly do my own thing.

Beyond stupid.

This! Can someone please take a minute to tell me how this belittles women? WTF does that even mean in this case? In case you liberals nut jobs don't realize this, a man is involved with every single need for a contraceptive device EVER.

No one cares if your whores want to abort, we care that we are forced to pay for it. We don't believe in it!

Get a $20 from the guy who used you to transfer his load from the bed to the toilet, so you can go to the corner and get a morning after pill. (this could legally make you a prostitute)

You know what's awesome about that? You're free to actually choose that path. Good for you.

I sure wish I could say the same about healthcare, but you don't care about that now do you? You got yours.

Rex refuses to shop a majority women employer.

What kind of bigot is that???

He says that HL has a war going on women. Who is hurting them more--HL who is offering them the employment they obviously desire or Rex who refuses to buy goods and services there??

It reminds me of these people who scream "sweat shop" at these garment factories in TinBuckToo and so the clothing manufacturer leaves. No more sweat shop but no more job either. Who had the interest of the workers at heart??
