Am I the Only One Who Wakes Up Smiling B/C Donald Trump is OUR President?

I'm not even gloating about this. I truly believe if lefties could see what Trump wants to do for this country, 50% of them would drop their opposition to the man OVERNIGHT. Here are 3 general reasons why I'm so happy w/Trump:
(1) It means that the long national nightmare of Barack Hussein Obama is over. Maybe I am gloating a little here, but I ascertained just how un-American & radical this glorified community agitator was from the start. But, how could anybody have missed it? From divisive comments in his own books to his radical associations, EVERYBODY s/h figured out what a total POS he was. Hell, by the time he was thru, the assasination of law enforcement officers had become the new normal. GOOD RIDDANCE!
(2) Trump's victory ensured that one of the most crooked & corrupt politicians in our history, Hillary Rodham Clinton (AKA Hildabeast), would not be America's 45th President. THANK GOD! This evil woman would've essentially put the White House up for sale. Mo' money, mo' money, mo' money! Seriously, how do you think 2 career politicians like the Clinton's ended up being worth $100-$200 million? Gosh, I dont know. Maybe they pocketed most of the 93% of CF funds that DID NOT GO TO CHARITY?
(3) Trump actually wants to do great things for America. Unlike most politicians, he's already made his money. Trump wants to solidify his legacy as the man who Made America Great Again. Starting with jobs & the economy, where he absolutely excels. Just look at the increased business investment, from both foreign & domestic entities, since the night Trump won the election. Let's be honest. Obama didnt have clue about job creation or the economy.
Trump is also committed to securing our borders & making us as safe as possible. Almost every other nation on Earth has strict laws against ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, and those laws are enforced. America doesn't have the right to do likewise?
I'll stop there, but these are basically the reasons why I wake up smiling these days. Again, I'm not gloating. Im a conservative Independent who despises BOTH PARTIES (I voted for Slick Willie twice, and I don't apologize for doing so. WJC & Newt Gingrich did some good work).
Im just really, really happy that Donald J. Trump is #45. MAY GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

I'm glad that you're back and I'm glad that you are feeling well. That said, I know that once you look at the road ahead you will see just how much work there is to accomplish and you will see just how much needs to be changed.
The Democrat Left have so many agents and allies hidden within FedGov that it will be tough to keep them all from working overtime to ruin POTUS Trump.
These bastards won't give it up without a fight, so, they all have a beatdown coming. That is the only language that they understand. It won't be easy to beat them down once and for all time, but, if we don't, they will beat US. This IS a war to the death with the Democrat Left.
This political struggle will end until one side or the other is completely discredited and silenced.

I'm glad he's president, and I voted for him, but if I'm thinking about him when I wake up it's usually because I didn't pay attention the day before and I wonder if he's said anything stupid since the last time I looked.

I agree with everything you said here. Trust me. I get what you're saying.
In fact, I was actually feeling a little discouraged at one point. The media was already fapping over the Flynn resignation, and then I watched the joint PC with Trump & Netenyahu, and Trump looked tired and a little "out of it" that day.
But less than 48 hours later, Trump held that PC & totally OWNED the media. That showed me that Trump is capable of standing up to these corrupt bastards better than anybody.
The opposition to Trump is scary. It is organized & well-funded, and I wouldn't take anything off the table with regards to what they might try to do. It's an incredibly sobering aspect of an otherwise great moment in American history.
But, at least we have a fighting chance. Hillary would've finished off what Obama started.
