Youre trying to be cute here, but anybody who read my OP with an open mind knows that Im happy that the country is FINALLY headed in the right direction again.
My life is impacted far more by state and local politicians than federal ones. Nothing Trump has done has actually changed my life in any discernible way yet.I'm glad you're happy, I just haven't personally experienced positive changes that can be attributed to Trump which would make me thrilled to wake up to his presidency every day.

I'm right there with you. And this is coming from someone who has voted for several liberals across my lifetime. They never did anything for me.

no stats required---I believe it's one of those alternative facts.

Actually, I hope I would be more horrified by the epidemic of cop assassinations that happened on Obama's watch.

I dont have a history of voting for liberals, but Ive voted for my share of Democrats. As I stated in the OP, I voted for Clinton twice, and still don't regret that because we had Newt to steer him towards the center.
I like practically everything this Administration is doing. I want a secure border. I want illegal immigrants, ESPECIALLY CRIMINALS, rounded up & deported. I want a President who understands business & the economy, instead of some community agitator who tells businessmen "you didn't build that."
The liberals here can falsely spin this as some sort of hero worship, but it has nothing to do with that. After 8 years of a radical POS like Obama, I'm THRILLED that we have A PRESIDENT & AN ADM8NISTRATION who are working to get America back on the right track.
And yes, I smiled again this morning

BV, youre simply full of shite if you are trying to deny that law enforcement officers werenot being targeted for assassination the last 2 yea4s or so of Obama's tenure. We had 5 police officers assassinated right here in Dallas. Same situation happened in Baton Rouge & all over the country.
Im not talking about LEO killed while do8ng their job. Im talk8ng specifically about those who were assassinated. Obamas toxic rhetoric had much to do with that. That POS race-baited every situation he could get his hands on, from the Cambridge Police matter, to practically calling a thug his son, to Ferguson, to Baltimore, etc. He embraced a domestic terrorist organization, and even made the biggest race-baiter in the country his chief advisor on race relations.
Why did you overlook all of that from Obama, yet you said that Trump's efforts to enforce our laws against ILLEGAL immigration are xenophobic and bigoted?
You have a warped mentality, son.

But you're proving my point. You argue that there was some "epidemic," then when presented with evidence that suggests you were being histrionic as usual, you immediately go to very specific and widely known examples.
Again, your problem isn't that you're incorrect about things, your problem is that you ways take those things to the absolute exteme. It's black-and-white thinking.
quote:I never said that, and even responded to your accusation and clarified that I was actually highlighting we're not that bigoted here.

My 9 yo son is happy...
No one else in the EZE household is smiling, although we are happy HRC isn't.
I do feel better about Trump than I did Obama (this was after I voted HRC in the 2008 Dem primary)
