Repubs have the House, Senate, and Presidency and you think people will blame the Dems if Repubs can't get their own heath care bill passed?
Exactly. When the Dems had it all and passed this original disaster with the super majority, Republicans who didn't have a say or a vote for it were still blamed.
At some point people will realize everything eventually becomes the fault of an R.

Ummm, how the trick is this on trump? It's Ryan's bill.
He's right. The current President is accountable for nothing.

Are you confusing Trump with the GOP?
No. They're married to each other now. Trump's failures are the GOP's failures. His wins are their wins. That's how politics go.
But more blame on this does go to Paul Ryan. But Trump has also spent the last couple of days whipping votes for it. He failed.

These baffoons had ONE JOB and they couldn't get it right.

But Spicer promised it would happen today! And Trump is a deal maker!

True. But I imagine like Bill's marriage to Hillary. A matter of necessity that ends up creating more problems than it solves.

Yep.

Also true. But Trump was elected because he doesn't have the political relationships - and handcuffs - most of Washington have so it's no shocker he didn't have enough pull to swing this for Ryan.
I think this was Trump's required "endorrsement" for Ryan. I don't think he was too invested or passionate about this bill and I'm happy about that. I have a hard time understanding why anyone would be excited about this bill.

Your giant orange overlord is a shitty salesman.
He couldn't convince the dumbest members of the House to vote for a bill they've advocated for for 7 years.

Link to a Freedom Caucus member advocating for Obamacare?

This is not a Trump failure. He wanted to leave the stink of shite attached to this bill firmly on Obama, and let it fail on its own, but "Congress" wanted to take up the legislation and he went along with it. He said that on 60 Minutes in late January, I think, after the inauguration.

I pray this bill dies tomorrow.
The health care bill doesn't
a) lower costs,
b) improve insurance,
c) increase liberty, or
d) make health care better.
So what's the point?

At this point it's just upholding a campaign promise, but I think the flak would be less if they did nothing (other than liberals prancing around about broken campaign promises).
