House Freedom Caucus acting like their voices are the only ones that are important. Some of these clowns need to be primaried.

They are the only conservatives in Washington.

So...they decided to not force through a piece of shite like the Dems did in 2009?

And we should make fun of them for that?

Sounds like Ryan and Trump are between a rock and a hard place with the Freedom Caucus.

Trump's not ready to be President. Can we fix that while we're at it?

Rock on the right = Freedom Caucus

Rock on the left = governors, Tom Donahue and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the Koch brothers.

The CNN story on trump last night pretty much killed any chance of this getting passed today.

Unfortunately for the republicans, the russia thing is going to have to get cleared up before anything can get pushed through.

Appears so.

They should just let Obamacare implode. Introduce a bill that has everything in Ryan's supposed "phases 2 & 3" already in it, let the Dems filibuster it, then sit back and let Obamacare implode on itself. Then they can just blame the Dems in the 2018 elections for health care going to crap. Seems like the best option at this point.

This bill was a turd. I believe Trump let the Rep. establishment use this garbage as a way to get along. An olive branch if you will. Now (maybe) we'll get a real bill that actually repeals and replaces the ACA.

That may be true, but there are multiple factions in the party. No one group is going to get everything they want and expect the bill to pass. If they really want a repeal and replace to happen, they have to compromise a little. Otherwise they're making Trump a one-term President and they're endangering their own job security.

How fitting that the Republican schism has widened so deeply that they may not be able to effectuate a replacement of something they all hate, the ACA, and the thing that arguably started the schism to begin with.
