No its not. Texas is the state that gives us Sheila Jackson Lee and Cruz still managed to win big there.

A Texan running as a Democrat has not won a statewide race in Texas since Bill Clinton's first term in 1994. LINK

I would not exactly call Cruze's win a endorsement of him, as I said earlier Osama Bin Laden would have won with a (R) by his name.

I seriously doubt Cruz is feared by anyone, let along solid Republicans. But to be honest, absent him, I just want the party to get behind one candidate who has the best chance at beating Bill's wife and/or another Democratic candidate. For too many elections recently, we have had no real choice; rather, we'd had to settle for a particular candidate as being the least " bad" of the rest of the field.

That's only three govenors and one was just elected. Previously Dems ruled the governor's mansion in Texas.

As far as the senate goes, thank goodness the likes of LBJ aren't winning Texas elections today.

Cruz won't be the next POTUS but he isn't the devil incarnate as the media would have us believe.

Ignorant. Cruz beat a very popular (to that point) long-established, and far better funded Republican in the primary. Oh, his opponent, was also the sitting Lt. Governor since 2003. Cruz literally came out of nowhere, starting with sub 4% name recognition.

I don't care whether anybody likes Cruz or not.

But, it's hilarious to read the various mischaracterizations about him, as well as the way people purposely try to underestimate his intellect and other abilities.

But by all means, let's all get behind a moderate, status quo, establishment RINO like Jeb Bush, and howl like zoo monkeys when he wins, simply because there's a stupid (R) next to his name.

You denigrate Cruz, cave canem, but I bet you would turn right around and praise our Idiot-in-Chief to the hilt.

Kind of kills your credibility, you know?

You are a fricking idiot. Nowhere have I said anything negative about Cruze other than he is unlikable. Thus making him unelectable whether I agree with him or not. Please highlight or link how I denigrated the man or go crawl back into your hole. How your dumbass got from there to anything about the current "Idiot-in-Chief" is a mystery. Perhaps reading comprehension is something you should work on a bit.

1. If those were the choices in 2016, I'd vote Warren and Warren would definitely beat beat Cruz.

2. Elizabeth Warren is not going to run in 2016, imo, so she will NOT be an option.

3. Ted Cruz will definitely run for the Repub nomination. I cannot believe the Repubs would nominate someone that unlikable and controversial. He might fail to carry some Red states.

I don't find him unlikable at all. In fact, the more I hear him speak the more I do like him. The more John McCain, John Boehner Lindsey Graham and the NY Times take issue with him the more I feel he's someone I should like.

shite.
Show.

Would vote for Cruz. Think Cruz would win. I honestly think Warren would suffer a George McGovern style beatdown against an average candidate (say Romney). An obnoxious arse like Cruz would still beat her by 5 or so. Southern and conservative women would vote against her in droves. Black women, black men, blue collar men, a lot of young liberal men (the ones who hated Hillary) will not show out for her the way they did for Obama. Sex still matters. I think a tool like Cruz seems less threatening than an ideologue of a woman. And I don't personally dislike her. She's kind of cute in a grandma kind of way (Hillary isn't).

Cruz.

And Cruz would annihilate her in debates. Even the RHINOS fear Cruz. It's why their media lap dogs attack him so much.

You must lack some self-awareness. You are as blindly partisan (and we often share similar views) as anybody that posts here.

1. Cruz
2. Cruz - or I'm moving to Singapore

Victor Cruz is an incredibly smart guy who loves this country. Sadly, I just don't think he can win. The liberal propaganda machine will destroy him like they destroyed Romney.
