It's not just the liberal propaganda that is criticizing him. There was a long, informative article in Esquire last mth, the subject being twofold: what is wrong with D.C. and how do we fix it. There was a panel of politicians, some in office, some not, an assortment of other insiders in D.C. A mix of democrats, republicans, etc. And all of them were placing blame on Cruz's antics as being an example of what is wrong. Do you not understand that his actions in calling for a stupid, time wasting vote on the spending bill is responsible for our new Surgeon General & numerous liberal judicial appointments by Obama?

The Continental Congress back in the day had a big problem with John Adams. I hope Cruz gives them hell for the next 20 years. After that I won't care. I'll be dead.

Truth be told, it is the media that is standing in the way of Ted Cruz being a strong contender for the presidency. This will never happen, but if the media would treat Cruz half as reverentially as they've treated Obama, Cruz would probably be the odds-on favorite to be the next president.

Actually, all the media would need to do is treat the man fairly. Unlike Obama, Cruz is a man of substance and intellect. He wouldn't need a teleprompter.

And you wonder why Republicans are famous for being the "anti everything party". That could be Cruz's national campaign mantra. And there would be Republicans waiting in line to campaign against him in the primaries. Worse, the Democrats would be supporting his campaign in the primaries with all their heart & pocketbooks. They'd be salivating to run against him.
