Please let them offer. Remember Les, there's no place like home...

Hardly, the "silent majority" that is no where near to being found on a "chat board" doesn't want to see him leave either.....

Courtesy interviews. Buying time until Saturday night. It looks like Miles is their man, in my opinion. I just read this:

And I'll say if he's getting press like this in Michigan, the Wolverine nation will be clamoring for him

I want Les to stay. Once the Michigan job is filled we can all stop talking about this and try and appreciate that we have a top notch coach. Everyone likes to think if we would have had this guy or that guy we would be undefeated. That's just not true. We play in a tough conference and we are a top program. I want us to have some consistancy at the coaching position.

But I am preparing myself for the worse. If he leaves I hope we get a big flashy name and a legend. Perhaps then when we have a loss there will be not be weeks of recrimination and we can enjoy life again. We might even be able to enjoy the wins like we should

Come home Les. And I hope you drive UM into the ground.

Here's the difference.
Nobody will be excited for the upcoming season if Miles stays. The spring game, errr scrimmmage will only have about 5000 people there in attendance.
I believe if we make a splash with a big name coach, (SOS, TT, etc) the spring game could easily boast more than 15,000 people. That's just the difference.
It's kinda like getting all excited about getting a new car and then you have to settle on a used car that you really don't like, although it does run.

well if we could get him as OC jefferson wouldn't have to change his mechanics. that's a good pitch to recruits

I like him but just want a decision to be made now. I don't want to be scrambling around looking for whats left in Jan.
This has been a huge distaction and had to influence the ark game and now the Tenn game.
