Looks like a pretty nice publication.

In other local food news, Ki Mexico is teasing on Facebook that they will be announcing a restaurant location in the next few weeks.

I'll ask here.

Can anyone suggest a Shreveport restaurant that a bunch of mothers can take a bunch of girls 8-10? Price-wise something mid to upper-mid range. American or Italian fare. I don't know the exact number so let's say 10 people total. Location is not that important but I think they're staying at a Hilton garden inn (not sure if there are more than one)

about damn time

although that does kill my future plans of opening up a craft beer bar and restaurant and letting them run the kitchen...oh well

Bistro Bryonz would normally be perfect for this, but the last couple of times I've been have not been that good...

Franks might be a good choice.

Coater, if the group were to twist off toward Messican, I bet they'd like Superior.

What time of day? Oyster Bar is pretty laid back atmosphere, where the ladies can get drinks and the kids can goof off a little. But I wouldn't suggest going at dinner on Friday or Saturday.

we just don't have any craft beer bars

its sad when Rotolos (seriously) is the best beer selection in town

One n Bossier and one in Shreveport. Nothing really close to eat at one n Shreve....

Superior would be great but packed on weekend night. They will be waiting a while w/o a reserved table.... If they will even do that such a thing.

Franks is a solid choice. Not as upscale as Franks, but relaxed is Rotolos on 70th.

If in bossier... Not alot of mid/upscale options. Notini's and Monjuni's are there. Couple good bbq and decent steakhouses

Dayum coater, you've had me fooled for years, I didn't know you were a soccer mom.

WOS, Superior would be fun for the gals, even if just tockos, burr eatos and chimmy chongas. You can order a couple margaritas in tea glasses to ease the pain..

j/k about s m.

Not sure if this is what they are looking for but if they are looking for Italian, both Chianti's and Giuseppe's have banquet rooms for groups. You could call them and see if they can do a scaled down menu for a group of kids.

Wed nite would be fine at Superior. Its the best ritas n SBC and by far the best Superior of the group. Tell'm not to sleep on the shrimp brochetas w garlic butter.

Aren't there like 10 Messican places in S'port that are better than Superior?

For a group of women and children? Terrible idea. Decent food but the place is like a morgue.

Coat I agree with Superior, Rotolo's, Monjunis or Cantina Laredo.
