Finally watched this tonight. Just... Wow. What a ride. This film was magnificent. I know it's highly praised on this board but if there is anyone who has not seen it yet, do yourselves a favor and watch it.

I thought it was a little overrated, personally, but it might be that I wasn't in the right frame of mind when I saw it. Will rewatch.

I need to watch it. It is embarrassing that I come on and defend Nolan without having watched this great film.

Now, I have seen 8 to 10 minutes of it - I caught it in the middle and didn't know what the heck it was or that it was a Nolan film - once I figured out what it was - I shut it off, intending on watching the whole thing, shortly.

That was probably in 2012.

Easily Nolan's best. Maybe a modern classic. We have some time to wait and see if that's the case.

I always feel like an idiot for not figuring it out the first time. I thought Jackman was Fallon somehow

The Illusionist was better, imo.

Both were very good though.

I loved the Illusionist, but it wasn't nearly as good as the Prestige.

One of my favorite films.

I loved how through the entire movie, Nolan dropped dozens of little hints as to what the "trick" was, but you couldn't see it until the end. Brilliant
