You are dumb if you think this,UNTIL we get a capable qb that can get the ball to said wrs....

From just a pure physical talent standpoint, Harris is more talented than Mett

Well he can run better than Mett....... The rest I am not sold on yet....

I just don't think Miles has ever developed a system, so it's been trial and error.

I hope that isn't the case... Coaching at a major football power, you better not rely on trial and error.

It's been the same philosophy for his entire tenure. He's just been slow to realize that good pro-style QB's are no longer being groomed at the high school level.

Miles/Cam have finally come to that realization and are in the process of updating the offense to fit the way modern football is played.

This!

Seems like a pretty big shift after 2008.

I think the change had less to do with offensive philosophy and more to do with trusting his QBs to make the throws.

When Mett matured, we got to see a glimpse of Ol' Lesticles again.

I think that supports my belief that LSU doesn't really have a system.

The system is "we're going to be aggressive but balanced unless I don't trust the QB to be aggressive". It really hasn't changed that much through the years. He's a little more risky on offense if the defense is suspect, i.e. 2008.

What the frick does Bradshaw winning 4 Super Bowls have to do with who starts at Quarterback for LSU? Bradshaw was a very good quarterback in his day, but he has no more of a clue of whats happening at football practices then you or I.
And if he is just basing his opinion on what happened last season, there are hundreds of people right here on the rant that are just as smart as Terry. And honestly, Harris probably will be a better QB then Jennings, but he certainly had his own issues last season.
I'm hoping like hell that they both improve this year.

You are frickin stupid if you can't see the type of talent that the Tigers currently have at WR. Production isn't always an indicator of talent especially when the talent at WR was so inexperienced like last season, you senile old frick.

Speed- Harris
Lateral agility- Harris
Release- Harris
Arm strength- equal

Football IQ is the only area where Mett has huge advantage but it's unfair to judge Harris at this point in his career because so far from being a finished product.

It just crossed my mind as to why Bradshaw didnt come to LSU, the only material he could read was defenses.

no it was about terry looking at the qb position at LSU and stating he obvious... Yu said the dude never saw the sideline... Well he saw it way more than you have... I would say he is more qualified than you will ever be... You just mad cause someone said something negative about LSU.... FACT....

Terry is always good for a sound bite. That who he is, that’s what he does. Last I checked neither Bradshaw nor anyone else here are at any of these practices.

The worst part is it puts negative thoughts into a young man’s ear, who already hears a lot of noise. What good does this do for Brandon Harris? All this serves is to build negative feelings and resentment should Harris not ascend to the starting position. Teams need to build and unite not destroy and divide. This is what separates champion teams from others. You would think Terry would know this.

Anyone wonder how often TB sits down and actually watches a full LSU game?

Still front page

Some of you are so desperate for things to go badly that you just can't help but lay out all the reasons why you are convinced they will.

I've said this multiple times in other threads, but I'll drop it again here.

For all the talk about how bad LSUs QB situation has been under Miles, we've had three years of bad QB play in his 10 year tenure: 2008, 2010, 2014.

Catastrophe Syndrome/Miles hating at it's finest. Rant on kids, I'll check back Friday to see how things are going on page 30 about the quote meant as a joke from a guy paid to make jokes and probably hasn't watched an LSU game since he covered the Sugar Bowl against Notre Dame
