Lol Do you even realize that the Tigers currently have 4-5 WR's, a RB and a QB in Brandon Harris if he develops like he should, will all play in the NFL with several potentially being 1st rounders?

This type of thinking is stupid. Some people completely undervalue the importance of experience along with failing to realize the enormous lack of experience at the skill positions last season. The passing game really suffered from not having a veteran receiver like Landry or Beckham to be a go to guy for the young quarterbacks or someone other defenses would have rotate coverages to to. That would opened up the field for other receivers & made life easier for Jennings or Harris.

Travin Dural was the only receiver last season with game experience & he didn't possess the presence to deserve that type of attention from opposing defenses. That changes this season with more experience at receiver. That in itself is going to make life for either Jennings or Harris 10x easier. The talk of DJ Clark emerging is a huge plus. I fully expect Dupre & Quinn to make huge strides this upcoming season. It's also going to be interesting to see how true freshman Tyron Johnson & Donte Jackson get used. Both have the ability to have an immediate impact in the short passing game with their ability to be electric after the catch. People need to get the frick over last season & realize 2015 is set up to more like 2013 offensively.

You can be skeptical all you want. The exact same shite was said heading into 2013 when Cam was first hired. Same shite, different toilet. There is more talented depth at receiver then there was in 2013. It won't just be a 2 man show. Plus where is there any guarantee that Jennings wins the starting role? From just a pure physical talent standpoint, Harris is more talented than Mett. It hasn't surfaced yet & won't be seen in full until his experience & comfort in the system equals his talent level.

Actually I have been watching. I simply don't try to second guess coaches that have forgotten more about football than I will ever know. And yea, I played football all the way to college but I am not so self aggrandizing as to think I have that kind of football mind that could lead me to talking strategy with the staff at LSU. Something that everyone on this board should learn. Also others like Terry Bradshaw should learn it too. Ever stopped to think why, with all this supposed football wisdom, that TB has NEVER hels a coaching position? Didn't think so. Bottom line. Terry Bradshaw is an complete arse and he is also pretty stupid as is anyone that agrees with him.

If that was indeed the context and it was tongue in cheek that is a different story. Too bad that was not made plain in the first post.

Broadcasting is just about the cushiest job in sports. Look at Bill Cowher... could easily go back to coaching but prefers not to do so.

Why would TB have wanted to come to LSU and alternate time with another QB that couldn't hold his jock?

Hell, Bert Jones had to alternate with Pat Lyons. What a freaking joke that was.

my point is that it shouldn't take:

-a starting NFL QB
-one pro bowl NFL WR
-another NFL WR
-an NFL starting RB

to field a competent offense at LSU.

Ain't it the truth though.

Has it ever occurred to your dum azz that maybe the man doesn't want to coach? Ever even considered that have ya? apparently not.
You don't like what he said because he took a back-handed swipe at Miles and also dissed AJ in the process. He's not saying anything that people on here haven't already said. While his comments were random and out of left field, they're not altogether wrong....get over yourself.

It's really an interesting psyche of a "fan" to see them argue vehemently to defend someone shitting on their team's coaches and program. I'll never understand it I guess.

Not sure why some of you enjoy the negativity.

Well I will never understand why you try to spin everything as a negative....

Someone says they believe Harris should start, you and other take it as a shot at Miles and the fan in particular being negative towards Miles.

Guess you see things you would like and there is only a black or white side to it no gray.

It is OK though do what you do best

I don't enjoy the negativity. You equate pointing out the blatantly obvious as negativity/"shitting" on the program.
The man is from this state.....he has watched some games in his lifetime, I'm assuming...he has done a few kinda of important things at the next level....he has a right to his opinions.
His opinions aren't going to change what happens on the field for LSU anymore than your or mine, so what possible reason could you have for being this offended by what TB says? You need to quit being so thin-skinned and touchy...its embarrassing and makes you sound like a whiny bitch.

There's a whole bunch of qualified experts on this rant . That's why they can't stand up without foaming a the mouth when someone dares to disagree with 'em. Then the name calling and personal attacks start up. If anybody ever wants to figure out why humanity can't coexist with itself, they need not look any further than Tiger Rant.

Pot meet kettle. His point was Cameron did well with expirenced NFL talent; the staff was terrible with the passing game last year. Of course no one expected the same type of production... if anyone did, they were in fantasyland. Its the coaches job to make due with what you have, adjust to suit your QBs inexperience and utilize his strengths. Their job performance was lacking last year, passing game wise.

I like Terry. I think his overall point is right, the one he is trying to make. I just don't think it's ever that cut and dry as "they don't coach them up".

Personally, I think they recruit the wrong type of player at the QB position. It's not a mistake the best QBs this program as had since miles took over was Russell, Flynn and Mett.

The common theme is they don't run. They stayed in the pocket. This dual threat QB non-sense is great in theory but bad in practicality.

You have maybe a small subset of QBs that can run a spread offense effectively. And how many of those spend much time in the league? Even fewer that are longterm successful.

We know miles and qb's. The obvious guy who should start, won't start. Another mediocre year of Jennings

Hell yea, broadcasting is cush defined. The difference is Bill Cowher has proved himself as a coach, Bradshaw has not even stepped on the sideline.

Is that why his name has NEVER been mentioned in conection with a coachin job? Gee who would have guessed.

Hey man stupid people are always talking bullshite so TB should join his grandkids on the rant and leave no doubt as to his idiocy.

Yea, actually they were wrong. Get "over myself" Look kid. I just don't care for people that talk shite like they actually have some kind of insight into a situation when they have absolutely none. It just goes to prove that opening your mouth removes all doubt when you talk about something you know nothing about.
OK done with this. I have been bandying words with people that I would completely ignore in real life.

And, if fortune smiles on LSU this season I hope that you all don't cut your wrists because it ruins your narratives.
