Except to play in and win 4 SB's, twice the MVP.

What a dumb arse comment.

Terry is not the only person saying these things. ...many knowledgeable people are saying same thing about LSU/Les Miles. ...qb development and Harris potential are the topics for LSU 2015....its no secret something is going on with LSU qbs that need to be fixed or criticism will continue

Total offensive yds per game average for LSU each yr. since 2000.

2000....375
2001....450
2002....350
2003....418
2004....395
2005....375
2006....418
2007....440
2008....368
2009....305
2010....342
2011....355
2012....375
2013....454
2014....388

Compared to OC at LSU for the past 15 yrs and their total yardage production, I don't see the big beef with Cam.

If it were only LSU fans, we could agree there's room for interpretation. It's not. It's virtually the national consensus

Its the coaches job to make due with what you have, adjust to suit your QBs inexperience and utilize his strengths.

It's really not that simple, you typically want to let the QB take his lumps and develop within the system you want to run, you can't simply scrap and re-tool with every QB that comes through the program.

Other than not preparing any QB or at least helping them progress even a tiny bit last year, no, he did great.

They can make some adjustments when it's not working, not scrap everything. That's the perception; the staff stubbornly won't make any changes, small or significant to help the passing offense when it's obviously struggling.

It's really an interesting psyche of a "fan" to see them argue vehemently to defend someone shitting on their team's coaches and program.

The really amusing part in all this is that Terry, love him, hate him, or indifferent to him, hasn't seen Harris perform on a football field in anyway since Oct. 4th of 2014 when Harris was 3-14 for 58 yds. I mean, it's freaking laughable for him to decide he knows best given the fact he hasn't even seen a practice, drill or anything else from the kid in 6 mons. Hell, he didn't even know Harris had been hurt in the Auburn game and evidently didn't know Harris was having to ask OL for play call help.

Oh well, all this will be put to rest after the SG.

I think both QB's have to get some quality playing time. I don't believe everyone wanted Harris to start last year but I believe it was a mistake shutting him down.

You conveniently left out YPG? That YPCatch and TD to int ratio is pretty sorry.

Here comes boxcar, the REAL expert on the QB position

Thanks. I know a thing or two but am no GREAT expert. Here's the deal. Both Harris and Jennings are better than average SEC talents. Our offense isn't designed properly for the college game (nor the pro game for that matter) and tends to make QB's and recievers struggle compared to what they could do in a regular offense. Miles/Cam have finally come to that realization and are in the process of updating the offense to fit the way modern football is played. You will see the results of these adjustment this coming season and will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of our passing game. It will also benefit the run game in a positive manner as well.

Uh, I hope you meant to post something else...what you posted would mean the staff is fricking retarded.

Probably because there have been several threads posted by people who were there saying he wasn't totally serious.

He should have said "it is no longer designed for the college game". Saban had a similar philosophy up until last year when he realized none of his QB's would be able to run their traditional offense. Kiffin was on the field calling the reads for Sims the entire year.

Miles must transition this year, and from reports it sounds like that's what they're trying to do.

Let's see what they do this year. I'm ready for football season and always have hope things change for the better. If nothing changes, I'll agree with your statement.

That was more about his post describing the staff had the wrong offensive plan and finally were changing it. I think they've struggled with the QB position, but not the way he posted it. His post described total ineptitude.
