Travel and Airfare Dos and Donts for Vegas...

A group of friends is trying to put something together sometime in October for Vegas. Any tips on snagging a cheap flight or a decent room outside of Jabroni Jersey Shore Central Casinos?

Don't book a 6:00am flight back home. Spend the extra $100 and book a flight leaving after noon.

IDK when you're planning to go, but it was "off season cheap" when I went October 12-October 18 in 2011.

I'll keep an eye out for cheap flights, but haven't seen any to Vegas from MSY recently (as in last 6 months). Fall fares usually come out during the summer so unless you see something you're interested in booking, I'd say wait.

Don't call the number on the card you'll get on the street. It may be much more than you planned for.
Don't pay a cover to get in the clubs, find girls beforehand. Otherwise it'll be like $50+/head, or bottle service.
