Redskins discussions w/ Bears, Rams, Vikings, Browns & Saints on trading down from 5th Overall. No talk w/ Eagles, pick very much available

Who would we target? Fowler?

Could be smoke too

IMO the only person that makes since for us to trade up for is Fowler. no way he drops to 6, we would need to move to 3 which would cost us too much.

I could see us trading down though. Maybe a scenario where Mariota falls and the Eagles make a a trade to move to 13 to draft him.

Just curious, what would you have to give to move up from 13 to 5?

Most likely both of our firsts and, either a second or both of our thirds. Someone will probably come in this thread with a draft pick value chart to give you more of an idea. I'm too lazy for that though.

insert Michael scott no gif

IMO it would negate everything they've done this offseason in acquiring more picks

Sounds like the Redskins are trying to raise interest in the pick.

And Loomis has been all over this offseason. I don't think there is a player they haven't talked to, a pick they haven't talked about or a player they haven't considered trading. I don't see them moving up though, unless it's a sweetheart deal.

This, but will probably have to move up to 2 or 3 to do so.... Which would cost way too much for the amount of needs we have..

Fowler and Williams are the only two worth moving for. If they were there at 5 and Washington would accept the two firsts, I would likely consider it.

It would be interesting to see the Saints draft board. Personally I have a large gap between Fowler/Williams and Shelton, who I have ranked third.

Wash GM: Hey Mickey we are looking to move down from 5 to pick up additional picks, and 13 appears to be a good spot. Would you be interesting in moving up to 5.

ML: Sure, we'll give you 13 & 78.

Wash: That's not enough, we would need both 1st &...

ML: Nope, not interested

Wash media report: We were in talks with the Saints about moving up to 5.

See how easy it is.

If we swap our two firsts for a #5 and Williams, thats something we all should support.

According to that chart it would only take both of our firsts to move up to five. But these things rarely go strictly by the charts. Just like when looking to trade a player it depends on how much you want to get rid of him and how many teams are interested.
