I heard that a lady that called WLF yesterday complaining a Heron flew off with one of her kittens. I also met a guy once that told me his uncle's sister's nephew's girlfriend's boss's wife knew someone that might or might not shoot them with his bow.

He shoots kittens with his bow?

You should be clear to fish now. Every seal in the world is in the Columbia river fricking up the Chinook run.

Sounds about right. When we're trolling around Ft Bragg for salmon you'll hear the familiar crack of a .45 going off. It's a pretty good signal that the sea dogs are dining on salmon and the fishermen are responding.

I have seen one try to take a kitten at my parent's house years ago. Kitten was hunkered down and the heron was coming in to grab it.

I was catching skipjack for bait below the dam here in Chattanooga a few years ago and one flew into my line and got hung on the jig I was using. Bad day for him as I pulled him out of the air and dehooked him.
