Friend of mine totaled his Camry due to a dry rotted tire. Front left tire blew out on I-10 at 70 mph. The tread separated, tore out the lining of the wheel well, then ripped out the main engine wiring harness from the firewall. Toyota dealer quoted $8000 fix. Totaled it ...

Luckily I didn’t have to live there. It was a dump. Kids who lived there had to move their cars on game day so parking lot was available for visitors
