Vino's Brewpub downtown has good pizza and beer. Pizza D'action on Markham is a good joint to drink at with decent pizza. Thats all I got.

I went for the first time on business last month. Capital Bar & Grill had great food, lunch and dinner, and drinks.

The Doe's branch there has always been pretty decent.

This and there is a flying saucer down the main drag with a nice beer selection and decent bar food.

I haven't lived near there in a while, but the Butcher Block was always good. For some down home type cooking, I'd check out Cotham's in Scott, AR. It's just outside of Little Rock, but it is better than the one in the city.

Alrighty...

Three Fold Noodles - Hot, new place. I like the noodles or dumplings
Natchez - higher end food/prices, but the atmosphere is laid back
Iriana's Pizza
Stickyz - Decent food but usually good music
Damgoode Pies - new location for local chain
The Root Cafe - Locavore place. Great breakfasts and burgers
South on Main - Hipster favorite with great cocktails and upscale southern food
Samantha's Tap Room
Capital Bar and Grill
Piro - Neapolitan style pizza, but the wait times for a table can be insane. You can get it to-go.

As others have mentioned, Flying Fish is good for catfish, Vino's is a good pizza dive, and Doe's has good steaks and delta tamales

No mention of Sonny Williams Steak Room yet? It's within walking distance. Where are you staying, the Peacock? I wouldn't choose Flying Saucer for dinner, but I would definitely hit it up later in the evening. If you're there on a weekend, they have a fun little market on the river with some various street food and booths.
