Yep. We had a bad weekend, all the way around. Lets hope they learn from it.

I agree with everything you said.
I'm still pissed.
We are too good a team not to embarrass Kentucky at home.
I know the better team will lose some games to lesser teams.
This one is hard to swallow. I made my mind up that we WILL sweep Kentucky this weekend. Kentucky is not a good team. I could accept 2 out of 3 or even 1 out of 3 on the road. Not at home. I will be able to swallow this lose rationally tomorrow but today I'm pissed.

We lost a series. That just means we have to sweep one.

Wanna be around 20-10 at the end. This year, probably 22-8 to win the SEC.

Every baseball team goes through a slump. I'd much rather go through it now then in May. We going to win the West and be a National seed. So y'all Rant Hoes just need to chill the FRICK out. Way to much cream on this team to not rise to the top

Who would have ever thought that your left fielder pulling a hamstring (not sure if confirmed) would have such an impact on the game. It was as if Foster forgot how to play outfield when he switched to second.

frick statistics (coming from a statistician), just roll the dice (which also happens to be a probabilistic outcome)

I totally agree. I've never seen a fanbase that needs meds more than the one five hours and two states east of here, but this one
is making a case. Yes the losses this weekend were disappointing with coaching f'ups and wierd shite happening, but it was just one series. If people think LSU is the only school this happens to, then they're ignorant morons. Thank God the dumbasses on here do not represent the entire fanbase.

The team and the coaching staff have been making mental mistakes all season long. Hopefully this series loss was a wakeup call for them. You can't keep making bonehead mistakes and continue to win baseball games.

I was hoping Friday night was a wakeup call about bunting situations... but alas... it seems it was not.

CPM really doesn't like to bunt, we should know that by now. If it's a game winning or tying situation I'd give it a 50/50 chance that he makes the call. Any other situation and he just isn't going to do it.

We know. But I still won't let it go.

Probably less. See 2013 world series. Guy hits in DPs all year... perfect bunt situation late... hits in DP

What?! Are you being serious? LSU did nothing but bunt for a few solid years after the 09 title.

How many of those series did Bertman cost LSU by making poor bullpen and tactical decisions?

You mean after they killed the bats? Yeah, he was kind of forced to at that point, but that doesn't mean he likes to bunt.

As long as he's been here, he's never shown a distaste towards small ball. Nor has he ever said as much. I think he just flat out fricked up Fri night.
