Harris was hurt last year.

Also other than the Arkansas game, where we had to shuffle our online and they sucked, the games were close. Sure maybe Harris makes a play, or maybe we see the Harris from Wisconsin or auburn where one bad play turns into losses instead of wins. The coaches made the rt decision.

Only if you're trying to be an obtuse arse.

Schools all over the nation that have poor recruiting grounds for certain positions manage to find competent guys.

Our QB last year couldn't have started for roughly 80 schools.

WTF are you talking about?

I was responding to chilge's assertion that somehow, we recruited Magee as a QB. That's just bull shite.

Not a single recruiting service listed Blake Sims as a QB. He was listed as an athlete.

Played QB in high school, began his career at Bama as a QB.

Recruited as a RB, moved to WR, moved back to RB.

And you say I'm being obtuse?

I believe we'll see two QBs but whether a reasonable onlooker would call it a "system" remains up in the air.

Please name the P5 schools with poor recruiting grounds for QBs who signed a QB from OOS who put up numbers in his second year removed from high school that would pacify your rage stemming from the position.

No, Jennings is the starter and will start each game unless he is injured......just accept it and it will be easier on you.

Bama did to Sims what we did to Magee. Recruited at his high school position, changed positions to see the field, then switched back to his original position to suit team needs.

Um, Terrance was a QB in high school who threw for 2400 yards and you said he was recruited at his high school position.

Wanna try again.

Whose fault this? Is this not a recruiting problem?

Um, how bout you list the P5 schools who recruited so poorly that they fielded a QB who rated worse than 96th(Jennings Rankings). NINETY frickING SIXTH!!!!

Or maybe we should just call Urban Meyer to help us define the LSU quarterback system...

Awesome. Magee never played RB in high school.

That says nothing about Blake Sims, who played QB in high school, briefly switched positions in college, and returned to his natural position to end his career.

You win the interwebz.

Blake Simms last year threw for 4k yards. He went to Alabama recruited as a tailback. Let that sink in. I understand he was a 5th year guy but still. I refuse to believe it's as hard as LSU makes it.

LSU homers will never understand this.....

I really hope Moles doesn't employ a two QB system. They can work but not very often. I again hope Harris can find a way to separate himself in the race. I think he has the talent to do some special things. I am now questioning his mental and football IQ. I hope I am wrong.

A simple statement that you were full of shite would have sufficed.

I'd be happy to see a one good quarterback system.

I don't think so. The basic skill sets of the two are not really different enough to offer distinct advantages in scheme by having one or the other in. I would say Harris appears more athletic, but if that has not been enough to propel him to the top, there must be reasons.

Whoever Miles sees as least dangerous with the ball will get the nod.

Briefly??? What a dumbass.. Try 4 years of briefly.... You are getting ripped in your own thread... Sims is 10 times the QB that AJ will ever be.... Based on thinking and choice making while the game is being played and most of all COACHING... He was a db and then Kiffen came in and changed what had been done the last few years so Sims had to learn basically a whole new offense.. No different than your hero AJ..........

I'm just trying to believe LSU will have "a" functional quarterback for the Fall season.

Oh, it was smart of you also to reply to the Magee post but avoid the list of P5 schools fielding the 95th rated QB last year. Very smart.

You hack.
