I got to go to two fall practices (that were closed) before the Wisc game.
You could see what Cam was trying to do with timing routes and slants, mostly stuff under 15 yards trying to get the ball to playmakers. Neither QB could connect, it was hard to watch.
The next practice they spent most of the time trying to throw to the RBs, same result. Neither QB could deliver the ball to a back in motion.
There is a reason teams line up to play the run, there just isn't any appreciable risk to play the pass against us. I think it will be better this year but it will be 2016 before we are a threat to consistently pass. Just my opinion.

Mmkay. Anyone wanna take bets on how fricking bad AJ will have to play to find the bench? This is the strange part to me. If your starter is bad and you're telling us that in practice, you don't see much separation, then WTF over? Give the other guy a shot. Exacty!!!! You mean to tell me Miles will hitch his wagon to the guy who can barely beat out a kid he has 1 year more experience than and 10 times as much playing time than?

Sounds like someone loved what that saw from AJ last year.
His eye for talent is so far beyond that of every other football observer in the country. While others only saw the bad numbers and losses with AJ, he saw something else. What? I do not know as I am a mere mortal, unlike him.

I love threads like these. These comments and quotes you guys bring up are pointless. In the end, we all know Jennings will be the starter, and Harris will sit and rot on the bench all year. And as a result we'll have another 8-4, 7-5 season again. Sooner y'all realize that, the better things will be.
