97% of the comic book movies do not interest. Im not sure how adults get so into them.

Well, I'm not a right wing lunatic so I don't mind Penn at all. He is a really good actor. You guys need to grow up

I try to avoid movies that obviously promote liberal overtones through hidden messages. Obviously, I can't predict what I see when I first watch something to determine that.... but yeah it just means I'll probably not ever add it to my collection. For example.... the last time this happened was when I watched "Boyhood" from Richard Linklater--an Austin film icon here in Texas. Now for who is reading this and hasn't seen it, I won't describe how this was portrayed but there was quite a bit of Bush bashing in the film. Nothing outrageous, but purely subliminal. But it nearly ruined what turned out to be a pretty decent film.

But there's a lot of shite out there that is anti-gun, tree-hugging, alternative lifestyle bullshite I'd rather not care to support if I can help it.

I don't watch horror movies and I don't really care for anything animated either...

There are actors I don't care for, but I don't think it would stop me from seeing a movie... Definitely some over saturation to the point it's been done too many times, that makes me avoid a movie...

Joaquin Phoenix - I don't understand the love. He is a one tone actor, plays every character the same way. Has no clue how to portray confidence. Even turned Johnny Cash into sniveling little girl for large portions of that movie. Watching him for me, is like nails on a chalkboard for y'all.

He's a hare-lipped remimder of what might have been.

I've thought about this for a while. I can't think of anyone that I absolutely refuse to watch. I am however seriously debating whether I will watch another season of American Horror Story due to Lady Gaga being added.

Brokeback Mountain

Jane Fonda, but recently Sean Penn. Both for the same reason, but Sean is a patriot compared to what Hanoi Jane did. . .

I'm willing to bet she'll be a lot better than anyone can imagine.

Wow, that's a lot of praise. I honestly don't care how good she is. I just hate her.

She's incredibly eccentric. But she also happens to be incredibly talented. It wouldn't surprise me at all it she's really good on this show.

Scott Bakula. Just can't stand him. I can't say why. I just hate to look at his face.

Can't think of anyone in particular. If watch or don't watch a movie its because of the subject matter not who's in it.

I don't care much what their politics are. Jane Fonda, Clint Eastwood, Tim Robbins, Mel Gibson... I don't care, so long as they can act. They aren't playing themselves (though it's a bit different for documentarians who insert themselves in their pieces - I avoid Morgan Spurlock not for his politics but because he's just so didactic... we get it, dude). It's the lack of subtlety and art in his message that bothers me, not the message itself.

Hell, I'll watch a Riefenstahl film, and she was a literal Nazi.

But I do the draw the line at genuinely awful people. I just won't give them my money. So, screw you Roman Polanski. I don't care how great Chinatown was (and it was f'n great), I'm not going to enrich a guy who raped a preteen girl. I'm waiting for him to die so I can get Rosemary's Baby on Blu Ray.

I'm kinda confused. If you don't watch Julia Roberts movies, you can't see a bad one either, right?
