My wifes friends have convinced her this is a baby mocassin, but I thinks its a garter. What Say you ?

It wont find many earthworms in my kitchen, but it sure scared her :)

In CENLA, that's a ground rattler. Kill you dead, yet no one can point out any of these deaths to me. All seem to have lost their rattlers as well.

why my wife refuses to work in flower bed anymore. I was gone fishing, bride working in front yard and screams "snake". My buddy runs over and says "you almost got bit by a ground rattler". He kills it. I come home and tell her it was a harmless brown snake. That was over 5 years ago. She hasn't been back in the flower bed since.

the same ground rattlers that the one kid mistakenly thought was worms and used them as fishing bait and they bit him apparently without him noticing and just as a grown-up figured out what happened HE DIED
