It has been a while since I was at LSU but I appealed 3 tickets and won 2 of them.

Yes, and they were surprisingly helpful and not at all combative.
Pro tip: if you don't have a parking pass but choose to park on campus anyways and end up getting a ticket, you can bring that to the parking office and buy any length pass ($10 for a week or $25 a month if you want) and they'll void the ticket. This works if you've never had a ticket with them.

Just go talk to the people at the parking office, I had a fairly expensive ticket taken off my record within 30 seconds all for making up some BS excuse and was told by the lady in the parking office "that this was only warning and to not let it happen again"

I've done it like 5 times (all 4 years ago). For some reason this dude had an old parking pass with the same number as mine and they kept writing him tickets but putting it on my student ID.
I just went every time and had it changed with no issues, of course he had a yellow jeep and I had a silver tundra, so it was easy to believe

I always think it's fricking hilarious when those retards stroll through the areas behind sorority row and the UREC looking to write BS tickets and just get abused. Pretty sure AGR had one of those ticket writing fricks on the verge of tears one day they were tearing him up so bad.

I would always write a letter to the parking office claiming to be my dad or mom visiting campus and borrowing my son's car. I would throw something in the letter along the lines of "I pay for his tuition and wanted to see where my money goes. I didn't know I couldn't park at XYZ lot." It worked every time.
